Hi everyone,

I'm new to these boards (after some lurking) so if I'm not following any of the correct protocol, I'm happy to fix it, please let me know.

I've just listed 6 rings on DB - I have two different green tourmaline rings in 14k gold, a couple of 14k gold bands, a small tanzanite in gold and a slightly larger (and nicer) one in silver. All were purchased from etsy sellers, such as Onegarnetgirl, Metalicious, ESdesigns, CecileRaleyDesigns, etc. - all sellers that I frequently buy from and have only good things to say about.

Here's a link to all of my listings:

These are generally more minimal rings, all priced between $80-$295, so you might find something on the more inexpensive side for yourself if you want to take a look. I'm a great communicator, and I've been selling on ebay off and on for years now with an excellent history (my seller ID is katharath).

I'm a more small time collector and am selling off some pieces to fund new ones, of course ;)

I'll be adding more items soon, mostly along the same lines; more minimal rings in the 7-8.5 sz range

Any questions or criticisms, just let me know :)

I forgot to add this in my listings, but if anyone is interested in something feel free to make an offer. I'll try to get a few more things listed over the next couple of days.

Tanzanite silver ring is sold :)

The rose gold band is so beautiful. I'm not in the market for one right now but if I was I'd snatch it right up!

I love your style!

I've been coveting a willow band from Beth at ESDesigns for years, and I love the yellow gold variation you purchased... but I don't think there's any good way to get that ring from a size 8 to a size 4 (or 5.5, for my middle finger etc, but I'd totally want to wear that on my ring finger). Drat. Stupid scrawny bones.

Good luck with your sale!

ETA: I am barely resisting the temptation to ask Beth if she could resize it that much. I shouldn't spend the money right now, but it's a very good deal and an exact item I had considered ordering someday down the road. If you should end up inquiring and she says it could be done, please let me know! :naughty:

Thanks! It's really lovely, and it has this sweetness to it that I just adore. I actually don't mind keeping this one, lol. But I bought a wider band from the same jeweler, so I'm wearing that one now, and this one rarely gets worn at all anymore. Glad you like it though :). The jeweler is Stephanie at etsy store Metalicious, she does beautiful stuff!

Sigh, me and my big fingers! Thanks for the compliment though :). I have a few of Beth's rings and I love her work, and that's why I'm offering this one up - I bought another ring from her recently and now haven't been wearing this one (same exact story as my rose gold band, see above post - but what can I say? I'm addicted to rings!!).

I have the feeling she wouldn't want to mess with sizing on this one bc it was kind of a big deal to get it made in the size I needed, it's a cast ring, very delicate, and the style means that she has to make a new casting for each size. At least I think that's how she explained it to me, you'll have to pardon my ignorance if that doesn't sound right. I know that one took awhile though bc she didn't have a casting in the size I needed. It's a lovely style though, I hope you get one at some point! I really enjoyed wearing it, but I've started to enjoy thicker bands so I've been selling my thinner ones.

Totally understandable, I don't think that style is particularly re-sizeable (and that would be a large size change, unfortunately)!

Good luck with your sale, I hope someone with similar fingers comes along soon!

Thank you :). I hope you are able to pick one up sometime. The thing is, I do remember Beth telling me that she had one made, it was available in gold and was a smaller size, I think maybe a size 5 - she had an extra one cast for some reason that she didn't sell. She offered that one to me when I first asked about that style in gold, but I remember that it was just too small, there was no way the size she had ready would have worked for me.

Anyway, she might still have it, this wasn't that long ago (6 months or so?) - you could ask! It would cost more than what I'm asking for mine, but Beth's pricing is pretty fair and it's a smaller size, so you might be pleasantly surprised :). I just thought I'd mention this to you. I was looking at mine today and it really is lovely; if it doesn't sell at my asking price I'll be happy to keep it. Of the rings I have listed, I wore this one a lot - I could easily just work it back into my daily ring routine.

offers welcome! tourmaline, tanzanite, gold bands/rings FS o

I'd really like to move at least some of these pieces to make room for more items, so if you're at all interested, shoot me an offer through DB!

Smaller tourmaline set in wheat band has sold :)

Twig band sold :)

Do you know if onegarnetgirl casts her jewelry or hand fabricates it?
Just curious.

I don't know for sure. I get the idea that she makes the initial ring model by hand, and then has it cast after that, but I'm just speculating. I don't think I've ever seen her say that she casts anything, so please keep in mind that I'm just assuming :)
