Hi ladies,
I need help choosing a veil. Originally, when I bought the dress, I didn''t want to wear a veil, but now I''m starting to think I want one. I have no idea where to start, given the style of the dress. What do you think??

I am veil-challenged, but I wanted to say how gorgeous your dress is! I''ve never seen anyone wear anything like that in real life and I think it''s a fantastic choice. I love fashion forward wedding dresses

It really depends, I would say a relatively simple veil - that dress is phenomenal on its own, you don''t need to overpower it with a veil. But anything from a short two-layer veil (fingertip-ish) to a one layer sheer cathedral would look amazing. You can let your formailty and venue help dictate those details as well.

I think almost any veil would work with your gorgeous dress! Here is a nice article to get you thinking about your veiling options: Knot''s Veil Advice

One that instantly strikes me as working well would be a fingertip/elbow length one that poofs out a bit, it would provide some nice balance to the fullness at the bottom of the dress.

Another really chic option would be to wear a birdcage veil. Its definitely a look, but you can have so much fun with feathers and sparkly broaches. Birdcage Veils

Don''t be afraid to just try on all the veils your store has, and see which feels right to you :)

I would do a single-tier fingertip-length veil with either a cut edge or a simple pencil edge. Something that flows down your back and flows nicely into the dress but doesn''t compete with the dress.

What a gorgeus dress

I agree w/simple veil

If you''re brave.... BIRDCAGE!

The look isn''t for everyone, but I think it''d be phenom. w. your gown!

I am not sure I would be inclined to say birdcage.

I just wanted to say you look phenomenal in that dress it is beautiful :)

Birdcage would be really lovely! If you don''t want that though, something very simple, one layer.

I like the idea of a birdcage - I''m not normally a fan but with some feathers and that dress I think it''d be gorgeous.

Alternatively, a fingertip-length, simple, cut-edge, as the other ladies said, would look pretty without distracting from the dress. I think a large flower in your hair would also be divine - maybe for the reception?

Try http://www.bridalheadpieces.com/ . I''m getting mine through Laura, and she makes the headpieces herself. Great prices, huge selection. I would picture a backpiece with your gown.

I am going to Ditto Marschswallowbird. Fingertip single tier. VERY simple.

If you are feeling sassy, switch to a birdcage like piece for the reception. You would knowck their socks off.
If you are a classic type, a big flower would be elegant gorgeous!

no idea about the veil. BUT I heart your dress. I love all the pleating detail!

WHat a unique choice and you look stunning in it!
