Hi everyone! Although I have been a long-time lurker (since 2006!), this is my first post. I am finally posting because I wanted to let everyone know I happy I am with a ring that was created by Victor Canera. I had an oval sapphire ring and was not happy with the halo setting. It was a princess Diana type of setting, but I felt like the diamond halo overpowered the sapphire and took something away from it if that makes sense?!?
I emailed Victor and he got back to me right away. We talked on the phone and he took the time to listen to what I was looking for. He had some great suggestions and even emailed a sketch that he had recently drawn of a vintage halo with the possibility of doing this for my sapphire. I loved it and gave him free reign to do what looked best. He even created an ajour profile to enhance the flower-petal look of the halo. I am extremely happy with the finished product! I will post a few pictures, but it is also on Victor's facebook page (posted on July 30th). His pictures are much better than mine
