Hi there, about to purchase this 2.3ct E VS2 with medium fluro. It has a fair few clouds and the comments also mention that there are additional clouds. Is there anything to worry about?
The video looks good to me: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1_8IUFcJaoF5sywAcCyqzAgTEeWO6mRD8

Can someone please confirm if this is OK/a good stone?

Can confirm the stone is eye clean, with good H&A (whatever that’s worth), not milky and not brown.

Thanks in advance!

Hi, tripleX!
If it were me, then I'd want to get videos in various lighting conditions...there may be a possibility of the diamond going hazy/cloudy with the combination of MBF, graining, and clouding. Certainly something that I'd want to rule out, if I were in your position. :)

When there is surface graining there is some level of internal graining - adding to DJ's comments.
The mapped clouds are small and probably not an issue, but the fact there are unmapped clouds - I would keep looking.

Thanks Garry and @DejaWiz too!

If they are not mapped, doesn’t this mean that they are so small they didn’t even make it on the plot and/or they are only seen post 20x zoom?

Most likely, yes...but, they are there are there is no information about how widespread those clouds are. Couple that with the graining, and there is a risk for a hazy looking diamond when exposed to UV. Assess, assess, assess.

To the contrary - if they map some that take up the entire stone it is the kiss of death for that diamond. Bad for labs as no one sends them money, and bad for the businesses.
But a shocking way to treat consumers :-(
