Waiting is torture!

Argh! So I took a chance on some 1/2 carat princess cut studs on ebay for about 25% of what BN charged for them (purchased from BN per the seller). They've arrived, and FI has them at our local jeweler *right now* for inspection and a replacement backing. Meanwhile I'm at work, waiting very impatiently for news as to whether everything is ok, or if I was scammed. I know they're small, but I can't wait!

Tell me about it. My e-ring is with tacori for resizing. It takes 10 business days. 6 more days to go. I am counting down. Most of my friends haven't seen it and asked to see it every time. (I was away on a couple of trips after we were engaged, so no chance to meet everyone.) I miss my ring so much. I feel sad not being able to wear it and show people. I am sure the wait is totally worth it at the end. No more pain wearing the ring.

Tammy, I can't wait till I get to see your studs. I am sure they are very very pretty.

Waiting is awful, isn't it? My engagement RB is at BGD right now getting put into a new setting, and it will be at least another week until I have it back. And when I lost a pave stone out of my John Hardy bracelet last year, it took 4 MONTHS to get it back, since they have to ship it to Bali for repair.

I can't wait to see your earrings! I have always wanted a pair of princess stud earrings, you are so lucky! My DH has bought me several jewelry pieces from Blue Nile, and everything has been excellent quality. I'm sure that you will love them. You have to post ear pics when you get them!

I am waiting on my CAD from BGD for my three stone ring. Jamie told me last Friday that it would take 5 business days for my CAD to come out for review. It should be ready Monday. If all is well, she said about 10 business days in production.

Thanks for asking. I went with BGD Truth x 3, 14 kt Rose Gold with Platinum heads. I got my CAD today and am set for production.

Looks very nice - what are the size of the stones if I may ask?

Are you pleased with what you have so far? I think it looks very pretty! I like the shape of the prongs in the head - will they be claw prongs?

Stone proportions: Center 2.73, sides .50, .51 all N color. Setting 14 kt Rose Gold with Platinum heads.

I am very pleased so far. The prongs are going to be delicate I should say, close to claw.

It was a very tough decision. It was hard to find unique designs for 3 stone settings so I took the safe road with something I have seen.

My center stone is 2.22 G, SI1 and the sidestones are .33 each, G color, SI1.

I thought at one time you were considering the open gallery three stone mounting from BGD - what made you decide to go with the truthx3 mounting? I keep waiting for someone to do the open gallery one - ha!

Yes, I originally had looked at the open gallery accented. Once Brian got my stones he thought they would flow better in the truth x 3 design. So I figured I should trust his opinion.

That's interesting. He surely knows his own merchandise so I too would probably have heeded his advice. It looks like it is on its way to being a very nice ring!
