Wal Mart Ring with James Allen diamond!

So here''s the story....

My fiance and I were looking around at Wal Mart and found this beautiful set of wedding bands with engagement ring. They were simple, yet with a nice design on the band, and met my one and only requirement, that all 3 bands be the same design!!!! I wanted our wedding bands identical. LOL. So we bought them, and decided to do some research (how I found pricescope and then James Allen.com!), save up some money, and upgrade!

And for those of you wondering, the Wal Mart rings are nice, inexpensive, and actually not bad quality. I had NO problems the 8 months I wore the engagement ring, and my jeweler said it was good quality. A great money saving option. Plus, I''m a nurse and didn''t want anything tooooo fancy that would dirty easily and get stuck on everything.

Excuse my hairy hands... how embarrassing.. I have a light complexion with very dark hair!

Size: 0.40
Color: D
Cut: Radiant (this thing, SPARKLES!!)
Clarity: I1 (all because of an inclusion on the lower right corner that the prong covers!! HA!!)

What a greatway to save some money, good for you! I love it, that diamond is gorgeous and it looks beautiful with that setting! I am a nurse, too, so I totally know what you mean...especially a problem with those darn gloves, but I have learned to maneuver them around my bling without ripping them!

Beautiful ring. Would be interested in seeing pictures of the matching wedding bands.

Thirty years ago it was easy to get matching wedding sets and many people did. Now matchy seems to be out, but my guess is that it will come back into fashion again. So, you guys are ahead of the curve.
