We are getting our e-pics taken a week from today. For our casual look, I am just wearing jeans and a deep v tee--that was easy. I am having trouble, though, picking my dressier look. I thought I wanted to wear this dress, but the more I look at it, it might be a little too pink for my blood. I put a sweater over it to tone it down (and because it won''t exactly be sleeveless weather here yet), but it might still be too much. I would love to hear your opinion, if you have one. I have it narrowed down to four dresses.

FYI--FI is wearing a white button-up shirt (untucked) with brown linen pants and a loose tie.

FWIW, the shoes and accessories could change. These were just the first two shoes I had in my closet and the necklace I had been wearing all day. Thanks!

#2 is the CUTEST, love it!!!

#2 is the CUTEST, love it!!!

Ditto, #2 hands down!

I love #2!

I also like #1 but would personally worry the shine would not come across nicely in the photos. I''m also liking how #3 goes so nicely with your shoes but I think the cardigan doesn''t work. Maybe you can wear it but take off the cardigan for the photos or throw on a pashmina?

dress #1 is adorable, but not with that particular sweater. yes, it''s very pink but would look cute and fun in the pics- would definitely POP!

dress #2 is cute, but if the details of the dress didn''t show up well in your pic, they may not show up well in the e-pics either.

dress #3 is super cute, and i LOVE it with those shoes! (probably my fave)

dress #4...you have such a cute little figure, and this dress makes you look frumpy (at least in that pic).

Dress #2!

I love number 2 as well. It''s my fave.

Dress #2.

Absolutely. I love it. I think photographed with professional equipment, the detail WILL show up nicely.

Plus, you have a lovely blank canvas there to dress up with whatever accessories you like. You can really inject a nice bit of colour with shoes and jewellery.

Me too!

And can I just say that you''ve got the prettiest face I''ve seen.

Ooh, ooh, DRESS 2!!!!! I love it, and it is SO SO flattering. I want one for myself ;)

Definately 2! It looks awseome on your figure!

While I agree dress #2 is really cute, you have to keep in mind that black does not show as nicely in pictures. I would stay away from black and pick dress #3 for it''s vibrant spring colours.

Love #2 the best. #3 is a close second...I love the color.

I like 2 and 3 the best! I actually love number 1, but worry about the shine, and I''d worry a bit about the fit (just because it looks like if you were moving around a lot doing different poses you might have a slight malfunction if you kwim).

Number 2 is my favorite,, you look adorable in that dress

2 no question. Super cute and flattering!

I''m voting for dress #3. I love the splash of color. It''s spring for goodness sake! Plus the lines are very flattering on you.

Ditto! Dress #3 wins hands down for me!

#3 is my favorite! It''s colorful, and looks pretty with the blue shoes, too! What does it look like sans sweater??

I love the vibrant color of #1, but it''s too shiny for photos. And I don''t love the sweater with it.

#2 is adorable, but the cute details won''t show up in pictures!

#4 has the same black issue & although it looks very nice, it''s a little too somber.

#2 or #3....the sheen on the pink is distracting to me. Also #1 seems dressier than what your FI is wearing. just my .02

I LOVE number two!!! It looks so good on you!

Oh, you have such beautiful big black eyes! I love the pink but the sheen may be an issue. I guess number 2
would be my second choice.

I like #2 as well and feel that its details can "pop" in the right lighting. To add color, just wear a shoe that pops. Do you know what your setting will be? I ask because if you will be outdoors in a park with colorful Spring flowers, those alone could add a nice splash of color to photos.

May I ask wear you got number 1? It really cute!

Oooh, #2! It looks amazing on you! I agree with adding a pop of color somewhere (shoes, jewelry, etc.)

Wow! Thanks everyone! I really appreciate all your help. You all picked my favorites, too (dresses 2 and 3).

Thanks Skippy, KimN, Winslet, bee*, Danielle, idreamofcushions, gaby, allycat, snicklefritz, thing2, and princessplease! I definitely appreciate it!

CDNinNYC, I totally agree with the cardigan not going with dress 3. Do you have any suggestions for what would go better? Is it just that any sweater wouldn't go, or the one I have with it? I tried a jean jacket and a blazer and the sweater looked better at either than those. I don't have a pashmina that would go with that dress, but I could get one.

Ice-queen, thanks so much! I was surprised at how good the shoes ended up looking in the pic with dress 3, too! I love that dress and wish it would be sleeveless-weather. But, I am glad that 2 works, too.

Thanks, Merry! I picked up a red belt and a real cute necklace in case I wear the red pumps. But, in the spirit of Spring, I was thinking about maybe a nice purple, too for shoes and jewelry!

Hehe, thanks Gwen!

Lol Katy. I just picked it up off the clearance rack at The Limited last week! You should go get one!

That is a great point, Kama. My photographer has some e-pics on his website with a black dress, but it is plain. I should e-mail him and see if he thinks this will even work. I do love how Spring-y Dress 3 is, too! I just wish I could figure out what to wear over it. Sixty + sleeveless = burr.

I totally know what you mean, Sabine. I love J. Crew, but they certainly don't make clothes with the busty ladies in mind. I would hate my e-pics to turn obscene. Grandma would not be happy!

Thanks, BigT! Dress 3 is just a sleeveless tank dress. It is going to be sixty and overcast here on Saturday, so I am afraid it would be too chilly without the sweater. Plus, I am not totally in love with my arms. But, I don't think the sweater is the best choice. You are right about the general shininess of Dress 1. It is shiny but it doesn't look as shiny as it did in the picture. I never thought about black in pictures, either. It makes sense that the details would be lost.

Good point, lala. FI is definitely more casual-dressy (if that is a category) and Dress 1 is more dressy-dressy.

Lol tyty! I hope my pupils aren't this dilated in the e-pics.

Not sure, omieluv. We are meeting our photographer downtown Cincinnati. There will be a river, baseball and football stadiums, a few parks, Fountain Square, the UC Campus, and downtown all within a stones throw. The photographer wants to wait to see what the weather is like before we decide entirely. But, they will definitely be outside and colorful.

Certainly, PrincessMiaPuff. It is from J.Crew, but it is from last year. I am guessing you could find it on ebay, though, if you wanted it. It is called the Rosette Dress, I believe.
