Hey, everyone -

I'm looking for settings for some of my stones -- I'm most itching to set my 8mm raspberry pink rhodolite and 8mm colorshift pink tourmaline.

Anyone have an 8mm setting or two they've been thinking about listing? Open to different styles and metal colors.
 
I have an absolutely gorgeous antique setting that I have been procrastinating listing. It was set with an approx. 7.7 mm diamond and would work for an 8 mm. stone. It is platinum. There are pics in an old thread. I bought a different setting because I could not get used to the weight of the platinum. I'm a gold girl, I guess.

I have this setting, that I am thinking about listing. It is antique, platinum and will fit stone between 8mm-8.5 mm. It is currently size 8.5.

:-) Yeah, it's pretty spectacular. I'll check the size. I think it's around a 10 (note those fat fingers!). Had to accommodate swelling as that was a problem for me. It is sizable. I haven't worn it in awhile but I have just not wanted to list it because, on paper, it's perfect. I just can't get used to the heft of the platinum. This is a substantial ring. Truly is an heirloom quality piece. I will try to figure out the DB listing process tomorrow and get it listed.....sigh.....

:-) Sorry for the delay. Yesterday just didn't go as planned. The listing is up now. I can't get the pics to show but they are shown above. My diamond bistro username is: psparklies. Please contact me via the listing or here with any questions. This is my first jewelry listing so hopefully I didn't leave anything important out of the listing. Thank you for your interest! This ring deserves a very loving home! Just FYI, my jewelry is very well cared for and only worn when I am outside of my home. I never wear my rings when I am doing household chores.

Thanks! :-) Yeah. It's just been sitting lonely in my jewelry box. Kept trying to talk myself into finding a reason to keep it but I just can't justify it and it deserves to be shown off more than just occasionally. Besides, I need to pay off my more recent setting and a new wedding ring. I've lost too much weight to size mine down enough. :-( Will be fun to search, though!
