WANTED: white metal ER with Princess cut for $3,000 budget

Hi all.

I have been away from the forum for quite awhile, having really loved it here before and read the threads every single day. I am back because I am assisting my cousin find an ER. He does not have much cash. Thus, the budget is approx. $3,000. He is fine with the secondary market. The cut must be princess. And he prefers platinum, but I imagine white gold would work as well. With his budget, I think WG is actually preferable so more money can be put towards the diamond. A whole wedding set, of course, would be preferable. He is not a cut nut like myself, and I have very little knowledge of fancies. I like the exactitude and certainty you can get with rounds, and when I bought my wedding set on the secondary market, I got an AMAZING deal on a Ritani endless love platinum set with an AGS 000 E, VS1. I do not think he is going to be as picky as me though. And I feel he is likely open to various settings. I'd just like to get him some options. Thanks!

I saw this on Loupetroupe. In budget, and I love Ritani. However, I'd much prefer a certed stone from GIA or AGSL. Particularly with a fancy.

I am planning to list my previous wedding set. I have inquired with BGD about polishing the princess cut centre stone to improve it to ideal standards. It is just shy of .5mm square (approx .70)

The set is made by a very reputable jeweller in Melbourne, Holloway Diamonds.

It's a beautiful setting with a great presence, especially including the matching .55ct diamond band.

These are set in 18k white gold, and there are two surprise diamonds in the ER which are faint pink argyle diamonds. The ER is my Avatar, however I have since upgraded. Size 8.5 and resize able.
