Watch My Fair Brady finale?

Did anyone else watch the My Fair Brady finale last night? Basically, Adrianne has been telling him she wants him to propose the whole season and he''s dragging his heels. So he brings her into this new house all decorated with candles- and tells her that this is for her (independence- living on her own) and she''s bawling- then he pulls a "just kidding" and pops the question! So I smile at my boyfriend and say, "see this is where we get the idea it is a good thing to push you guys- she got the ring!"

It sucks how he proposed- and there weren''t enough hand shots! May not last, but it was fun to watch!

Damn me and my insane "need to know" head. I Tivoed the show, and then I saw this thread, and was like, ooh, what''s goin on? 7 months!!! Her pressure was bad pressure. But it worked.

My pressure is soft, cool pressure. and I get nothing. Okay, that''s it. Sex shop is CLOSED. And my BF''s punishment? We''re watching My Fair Brady tonight. That''s right. I think I just got pushed over the edge.

I watched it too, and thought about making my bf watch it too, but it was just so silly. My lord, if I were Chris Knight I would have left her long ago. The show was taped during only a couple of months -- and she''s crying and screaming about how he has to propose to make her an honest woman... yeah, like that''s going to do it. She parades around having all sorts of kinky sex with him and dropping out of high school and posing nude, but a ring on her finger is going to make her an honest woman. (And I don''t judge any of those things. To each her own! Good for her! But geez... hypocritical drama queen much?!)

She was crazy wasn''t she!! Mandy- my boyfriend said about the exact same thing you did- too funny! You''d think it might give a guy worries about his gal, but I think it made my boyfriend see how good he had it! It makes me gently broaching the subject of engagement every few months seem like a saint!

I really have to agree with everyone, I honestly thought she was insane. She really put the screws to him, and it was just unfair. I can''t believe Chris is just going to cave like that. It can''t be healthy for their relationship. I mean, he''s always going to remember why he proposed before he was ready, because she forced him. That''s not cool.

I couldn''t believe she didn''t know what was going on. I totally knew. I thought for sure she would get a clue when he said to make a list up of all the things that she loved about him. But she didn''t get it...than he brought her a dress and took her out to dinner...she still didn''t get it. With as much as she thought about it, she was certainly clueless.

I think she put a little too much pressure on him but it worked...got to give her kudos for that.

I didn''t much like the proposal. I mean, he had her crying because she thought he was breaking up with her...that''s just wrong and not at all romantic. He could have left the moving out thing out of it and been more romantic about it.

I actually thought it was going to be a house that he bought for the two of them to ''start their life together'' and he was going to say something like ''this will be our house to live as husband and wife'' or something along those lines.

I did think it was funny that when he was walking her to the living room and she was cursing him and the apartment, bawling and she the she said ''oh and it has vaulted ceiling...no no no''.

Will it work? Who knows, they do seem like opposites but I think there''s genuine love there. I wonder if they will have another show close to the wedding...if there is one. If there is I''m sure it will be full of drama.

Okay...I just saw the episode (rerun)....I find this couple so interesting...he taunts her with her biggest fear and then proposes???? She pressures him into a proposal that he''s been against this whole time??? Yeah...this is going to work...

Caribou...I do agree that it was funny how she would say, "It is pretty...but no no no.....It has vaulted ceilings but....no no no....."
