My FI went to a wedding this weekend and he said everything was really really nice, and there were only a couple mishaps which I'm sure happen at all weddings, although one was much worse than the other....

One being that the cake was dropped, although they fixed that up just fine so it was not noticeable, they added some more flowers and it looked a-ok. The bride and groom weren't upset by this b/c they just said accidents happen and it was fixable so no biggie.

The second is that there was also a sorority function going on in another ballroom in the hotel where the wedding was taken place and someone from the sorority walked in (most likely intoxicated, hopefully no one would do this sober) at some point during the wedding reception and wrote profanities in the guest book and on the signable photo mat frame. Luckily, one of the groomsmen saw this before the bride and groom, and he removed the pages with profanity on them and had the guests who had signed those pages re-sign, and he drew a "congratulations' over the profanity on the signable photo mat, and managed to cover it up.

Can you honestly beleive some people? I was so shocked to hear this!

Some people.....should be slapped! What an idiot. I am glad that your wedding party took care of it and removed the offensive pages. Shoulda found the girl and made her eat them!

That is horrible! We were the only event held at the CC so we didn''t have any problems (nor have I ever seen any). Oh, well. Hopefully karma will get them.

wow.. I can''t imagine getting drunk and being so mean as to try to ruin someone''s wedding momentos. people are nuts. thankfully we''ll be the only event at our location!
