Quick top ten update for you! My bf and I purchased a oec from Fortekitty through the pre-owned forum and it arrived yesterday! God it is beautiful I can't wait to have it on my hand.

Dust please so that he doesn't make me wait too long?

Yay!! I eyed that OEC for soooo long! I adore it. Congrats! Are you going to leave it set as is or are you guys changing the setting? (it was set, right? I was always so distracted by the yummy stone I hardly remember now!)

I think he's going to make me wait a bit longer then that unfortunately but I really, really hope not!

Audball - it did come in a setting but it doesn't fit me and I've been in love with the amcor vintage fishtail setting that Dreamer has with her OEC. It's a super reasonable price so I think I'm going to go with that.

I do adore bezels and was thinking of that but it is ever so slightly out of round and I was worried a bezel would accentuate that. It measures 5.95 x 6.18 I believe. What do you think?

It's actually 6.05 x 6.25 x 3.80, according to Charles Carmona! My calipers were measuring everything too small.

In hand does it look visually out of round enough that you think a bezel would bother you? A semi bezel may give you the bezel effect without making it look too round. How is the girdle on this stone?

Fortekitty! Hi! So glad to hear it, I forgot to ask you on the phone the other day. I'm not surprised to hear that as I couldn't see anything but round when I look at it. I had it out playing with it in the sun today and it flashed light all over the place

Am def considering a bezel then if I don't go with the fishtail prong setting.

And yes - I was very happy to find out it was bigger then we thought!
