We Set a Date!

Hey Everyone,

Thanks for all your help everyone! MY FI and I drove up to visit my dad to talk wedding stuff and we actually set a date and reserved our location! I am so excited I could burst.

We decided to throw caution to the wind (as many of you adviced) and get married in July, hurricane season or not hurricane season. It really was just the best time of year for us. So Monday, July 17th it is! We contacted Caneel Bay, USVI and they''ve put us in the books. We just have to send in the deposit and then everything starts moving!!

Who says they don''t like Mondays? He he he, we figured, if people are going to come to the islands, who cares what day of the week it is.

Congradulations lady! Thats a very interesting point. wHen I contacted Caneel I automatically asked for Saturday availability. But really, who cares?! This is just too awesome. Happy planning!

We were married on the Monday after Christmas, 2003. Monday is a great day for a wedding!

We will get there early to get our marrage liscences, and play with out friends, then we will stay there for our honeymoon.
It''s just easier that way. Later on, at some anniversary, I''m promised a trip to Fiji, where I really wanted to honeymoon, seriously, how greedy can I get?
I''m so excited now that I can''t think about anything else, and I''ve almost got a year to think about it! ARGH!
Now to look at beautiful wedding rings!

I know that I should wait, I just KNOW that I want an eternity ring from signed pieces! My poor FI didn''t know what he was getting into when we got engaged. He thought he was marrying a rugged, outdoorsy tom-boy. Little did he know that despite my dirty nails and man-hands, I''m a girly girl who loves diamonds!! Let''s face it, I didn''t know either until I started looking!
