Well, OK, that was a joke.
There are none for men.

But there is probably a big market for how to avoid the need

What prompted me to write this was the other day I counted 28 Bridal mags in the newsagent where I live.
Twenty Eight !!!!!!!

The first ever national brand building advertising i did for my B&M jewel biz, about 15 -20 years ago, was in a bridal mag - at the time there were only 3 available. A De Beers marketing lady advised me which one to advertise in - only needed one as the girls bought all 3 she told me.

Imagine now - I would need to advertise in at least 2 to be sure they would see my adv.

He, I like the Martha Stewert Weddings sort. But honestly I do not see why so many get purchased they all have the exact same pictures, and very similair articles. Plus at 6$ a peice they are not cheap.

I am still hoping my BFF will want to plan my wedding for me.

The mags do have tons of overlapping pictures...when we got engaged I went onto eBay and bought subs to three of the most popular mags (Brides, and something else?) for $10 each. So I got 3 bridal mags for $30 for a whole year. Not bad. No way would I pay newstand prices. Also, I did the MSW sub for $24...I loved it for beautiful ideas. Oh and I got a few issues of T&C because they had a wedding issue once a year I think and they had some stunning, expensive ideas that we could never afford but I loved the pictures of the dresses and jewelry. My dream dress was in there, a Badgley for $15k.

When my coworker got engaged, I brought in my trough of mags and told her to have at it.
