Hi all,
I have started considering wedding bands and wanted to know if anyone had any good ideas. My ring is the Vatche half pave setting in platinum - the band is 2mm. There is a matching band, either eternity or half pave. However, after trying on some similar bands in local jewelry stores, I have decided that I don''t want the perfectly matching band. I am looking for a pave band, but maybe 3-4mm to mix things up a bit. The only issue really is that my stone is set pretty low. I don''t mind a gap or things bumping a bit but a lot of wider pave bands tend to be more domed. I also want the pave to go far enough down like my setting so it almost looks like it could be eternity without the daily wear issues. I''ve attached a picture of my ring - I have plenty of time to find a band (October wedding) and am not opposed to the custom route if nothing else works. I''m also open to a coordinating but non-pave band also! Thanks all!
