Wedding band help

Hi everyone
I am hoping you guys can give me some suggestions on a wedding band.
I’m attaching a picture of my engagement ring which is a three stone in platinum.
I don’t want all pave diamond wedding band and was considering just getting a plain platinum band in 3mm.

But then I saw the scattered diamond band on white flash so I was considering that as an option.
But they don’t have it in platinum in 3mm.

Brian Gavin also has this ring and I’m waiting to hear a price for the 3MM. They have a 5MM which I think would be way too big.

1) would it be ok to get white gold band and wear it with my platinum ering? Here are 3 pics white flash sent me to get a visual.

2) or should I only get platinum to match?

3) do you like this look at all or should I just do plain platinum band with no stones?

4) any other suggestions?

I’ll add that white flash and James Allen both have the scattered band in platinum for 1132 but I think 4mm may be too big?

Will the quality be better at one than over the other ?

Do I get 3 in white gold or 4 in platinum?

The scattered stone bands are eternity. Do you think 4mm would be too big? James Allen and white flash both have platinum for 1125

Personally, I’d get it in platinum. I like the 3mm; I wouldn’t go wider.

Just my opinion, but I'd go 2mm platinum. It would make your 3 stone pop more. But that's just me. Good luck deciding!

So, the 3mm in platinum is stones not scattered. White flash has scattered but only white gold in the 3mm, if I want platinum it only comes in 4mm.

So, I think the scattered looks better but what do you all think?

My Options are:
1) James Allen platinum 3mm stones not scattered
2) white flash white gold 3mm stones scattered
3) white flash platinum 4mm stones scattered

Hi thank you! Yes I did ask them and they said no
I found a seller on Etsy that has good reviews who may make it in platinum for me. It seems they are the only vendor so far that will do scattered stones platinum 3mm
I’ll call James Allen today also.

Any reason not to go with Etsy???

Haven’t heard of either, sorry. Another option is to contact David Klass. He could totally make this for you. He has an Etsy store or you can find him on IG.

He does a lot of custom creations for PS-ers. My rings in my avatar are by him. If you reach out with the pic of the 3mm scattered stone ring that you like and say, I want this but in platinum, he’d give you a quote. I’m guessing the price would be competitive with the other rings you’re considering.

Totally personal preference! The 3mm looks more balanced but the 4mm gives a nice chunky look. And your fingers are long enough to accommodate the wider bands, so I’m mildly jealous. I can see why both appeal to you!

Ya I’m wearing the 4, visually I like the 4 better but I am starting to think the 3 is more comfy

Yes, it is tricky! I usually just wear my 3 stone alone, but if I do wear a band, my favorite is a narrow, plain one. A scattered 3mm sounds wonderful by itself as well!

My channel set band is from Tiffany and it is sparkly. It is 3 mm wide and I have said that it is like a ribbon of diamonds. I felt that it complimented the three stone ring but did not overpower it. Just has a different look than say a prong set band. Depends on the size of your engagement ring and the size of diamonds you would use in your band.
My go to vendor is Whiteflash. You can look at their website for some of their offerings. Brian Gavin diamonds sells great quality bands and I would also check out Continental Diamonds and ID Jewelry in New York. Let us know your impressions of what you see at your jeweler’s shop!

I was actually at IDJ in NYC yesterday. I was surprised at how reasonable their prices are for bench pressed custom work with 0.03ct FG color SI Diamond melee.

The white band is with 0.03ct stones, the rose gold one was with 0.015ct. White was noticeably more sparkly in person so definitely good that you are going to check different sizes/types in a store before picking.
