Wedding band to fit my halo ring (pic) YAY!

Got my wedding band t oday - some of you may have seen a post that I wasn''t happy with my wedding band - I had picked it in the store and had MAJOR second thoughts about it - well, I went back and tried it on again and I liked it agian - crazy or what?

I''m so glad you got it. I always wondered what kind of band would work well with a halo setting that is lower-set. That is so pretty. I like the slight gap. It looks so graceful, like they were made for each other.

I like the band fitted to the shape of the e-ring. I personally find it more flattering that a flat band that has huge gaps because it does not fit around the e-ring. What do you think about getting another band for an anniversary down the line and putting it on the other side?

Never too much bling for me.

Thanks everyone! And to those who suggested one in front - I TOTALLY tried that on when I as at the store! IT may be a future project!

The only problem I have with it is that it won''t stay straight, it very easily slides over and out of the little "gap" for the bezel. I may ask the jeweler to either but a little clip or a notch to help keep it in place. I will NOT however, have it soddered. (did i spell that right?)

While I was tehre I stareted a new project, which is to fill my old setting, a white gold catherdral setting. They said they can easily replace the head and put in any shape. After realizeing my bidget is kind of small (getting married in 5 weeks, can''t be spening too much!) I decided to look at a few 2ct peridot that he is going to bring in for me, in cushion and oval shapes.

So I will keep yall posted on that too!

I think the little spaces of flesh add a nice airy feel to the design.

It looks great--very delicate & compliments your e-ring perfectly. I know you were worried about the band looking good w/ your e-ring, but I''m so glad you''re happy with it after all!

I understand not wanting to solder it all together. Another option would be to have the 2 wedding bands made into an insert-type setting similar to this. Obviously the rings are very different, but you get the idea. Something to think about for the future.
