I just got my wedding band in the mail, and it just doesn''t go with my engagement ring! The band is not quite tall enough to match up.... see picture below. This is the band I ordered: http://www.bluenile.com/wedding-ring-platinum_22
Does anyone have any suggestions for a replacement that might match my ring better?

(P.S.- My diamond is much prettier than this in real life... yikes!!)

Looks like you need a 3-4mm band. I would just return the one you have to BN and go visit some jewelry stores that are local to you.

Well, I really only wanted it to be 2-2.5 mm. I just measured the BN one, and it''s barely over 1mm I think! But my concern is really the "height" (?? I don''t know if that''s the right term)... the part you would measure from where the inside touches your finger to the top. Does that make sense?

Yes-height is right. I would first start out with a call to whomever made your ring to see if there is a matching one...

I bought my ring at a B&M store... they want to charge over $1000 for the matching band so I thought I''d look online. If I''m going to pay that much, I''m getting something with diamonds in it!

I would call blue nile and ask if the have any other 2mm heigh band.

Yeah, certainly call whoever you are considering purchasing from if you want it to be a certain height. I''m sure they can help you find what will work best for you.

E-weddingbands.com is generally well regarded around here, and they have a LARGE range of bands for which they give thickness measurements - you''d be able to find the exact dimensions you want.

When you say 1mm, are you talking about the thickness there (height off the finger)? Or the width? Just checking, because there is NO WAY that band is close to 1mm wide!

Sorry, I meant 1mm thick. It''s definitely 2mm wide. I wasn''t very clear!
