Our wedding is still a whole year away.
I haven''t even thought much about the wedding band....
Until yesterday, that is.

I was killing time in a little shopping center and wandered into a jewelry store that sells mostly heirloom jewelry.
The saleslady asked, "Is there anything special you are looking for?"
I said, "I am looking for inspiration"

She pulled out a channel-set half eternity band with alternating round and baguette daomonds.
It looked absolutely stunning with my engagement ring.

So, she''s holding it for a couple days while I think it over.
Today I popped into another jewelry store and I asked the very nice gentleman if he could suggest a band that would look pretty with my e-ring.
He put a bunch of rings next to it, but eventually settled on a ring that is exactly like the one I have on hold in another store.

It''s the price on ring #1 that is pushing me to act fast.
It''s being sold on consignment but it is brand new & never been worn. The price is basically HALF of what the ring is going to cost anywhere else.

What would you do? Opinions, please!!

If you know you're going to love it forever, and you've done your research and know definitely that it's a bargain and of good quality, AND you're not the type of person that is liable to change her mind a zillion times, then I'd say go for it.

got mine at least one year before. it was TORTURE though....not being able to wear it...

Buy it. If you don't, you will kick yourself over and over once someone else does. I don't think a year early is too early if it's exactly what you want and the price is good. Go for it.
