Well, my date was finally on the extended forecast beginning the other day and it looked like things were going to be very nice for the wedding, but now we''ve gotten thunderstorms rolling in and it''s supposed to rain EVERY SINGLE DAY between now and next Sunday..which INCLUDES my wedding next Friday!

I guess I wouldn''t care AS MUCH if my reception wasn''t going to be in a tent outside. :''( I don''t want my dress to get soaked through on the bottom! I don''t want to not be able to take photos outside in the beautiful scenery! I don''t know what to do!!! *CRIES* I realize I still have a week until my wedding, so things could change, but right now...things aren''t looking so good.

What''s the weather for your day forecasted to be? And for those of you already married, if rain was in your forecast, did it happen? If so, how did your day end up? Wonderful anyway???

I feel you News.........

All it has been doing is raining!!!! My wedding is 2 weeks and 2 days away and like you, outside under the tent! All we want is a nice sunny day (heck, It could be 100 degrees as long as it does not rain). Fingers XXXXXX-ed for you, for me and for all July Brides! Uggg!

i''m not married yet. BUt your day will be wonderful no matter what the weather does. You can always book the photographer to do an after the wedding shoot a couple of weeks later of your FI and you. I''m doing this the day after my wedding, so that we will have lots of time, and I won''t be as worried about the dress. so if the weather messes up ask your phototog if you can reschedule the portrait shoot. Can you put a floor down in the tent, to keep everyone''s feet dry?

News I''m with ya hun. Getting married next Sunday in Providence, RI. Currently the forecast is for scattered thunderstorms with a 70% chance of rain. But here''s the thing. Thunderstorms are quick moving, somewhat random weather patterns. They can say the chance is likely based on the temp and est humidity, etc, but they can''t really make a call 9-10 days out. Not an accurate one at least. So try and stay optimistic and know that I''m in the same ark (it seems like I need one with the recent weather) as you.

Hoping for no rain for you, but just to let you know, it can work out OK if it does. We had a HUGE thunderstorm the afternoon of our wedding that threw off our plans, but we adjusted and ended up with gorgeous clearing skies and a rainbow. Also, the dramatic gray skies before and during the storm provided an amazing backdrop for our photos, especially ones with flowers in them. Have some umbrellas ready, too. I''ve seen some gorgeous wedding photos with the couple sharing an umbrella in the rain!

The forecast was very similar to yours for my cousin''s wedding a week ago today - 89 degrees, high humidity, and 70% chance of rain. It rained aallll week leading up to the day too! In the end, it stormed like crazy in the morning and was done by 10 or so and then they had sun from 11 all the way up until 5:30 when it started to cloud over again, right as the reception started and was in the low 80''s all day. Lesson being, most of the time, the forecast is wrong! So have a back up plan just in case... Maybe those drop down walls for the tent (?) so you will be prepared for the worst, but it is very possible that it will change for the better!

Just wanted to send some weather dust your way! I haven''t been around much to post details yet, but we got married last weekend and had horrible reports all week and the day ended up warmer than hoped for; however, it was beautiful with no rain and storms! Hot and partially cloudy..but no rain! So stop worrying..it will work out.

When my date appeared in the 10 day forecast it switched back and forth from rain to sun a few times...it ended up being absolutely perfect sunny, 75 degrees in October!

Just a few weeks ago I went to a wedding where it thunderstormed right before the ceremony. Some of the guests showed up wet, but it didn''t seem to impact the day much at all. They didn''t take pictures outside, but they made up for it with indoor pics. However, my photographer has done some awesome pics in the rain with umbrellas coordinating to the wedding colors. If 2 days before your forecast still says rain, maybe consider getting some umbrellas??

Fingers crossed that your day will be perfect. And if it does rain, remember it''s supposed to be really good luck to have rain on your wedding day

I''m sorry, but any bride who''s had rain on her day will tell you-whoever thought that saying up CLEARLY was never a bride or never got married in the rain! LOL!

I drive myself crazy monitoring the weather the week before our wedding, which was on the beach. The weather guy called for overcast, rainy, and high 60''s...ended up with sunny and 75! What does the weather guy know anyhow, right?
