Hi girls,

I''m married!!!! I just got my pics back and I love most of them, except the ones where I am sitting down.

My boobs are pushed up all weird and look...sloppy.

Does anyone else have pics that they just hated? Also, I wore a bustier, and the girl at the dres shop told me to have cups sewn into it for an added lift. Which I did, but now feel like it was the wrong decision. Like it was too much lift.

Did anyone else wear a push-up bra or any sort of extra padding on their big day?

I just need advice and comfort.

Thanks girls!

Aww, Laura, I'm sorry you aren't feeling totally in love with all of your photos. My advice is to cherish the day for what it was. You're married!! The wedding planning is DONE!!! I think it's easy to start analyzing after-the-fact because, well, we're in planning withdrawal. I wore a true corset under my dress and added some pads to help me fill it and the bust of my dress out a bit better. In most photos I like the look, but there are some where it's really obvious to me that I've got some help up top, and others where my dress kind of stood away from my chest because of how I was moving/standing. I'm not sure it would have done the same thing had I not had the corset on. It's actually really noticeable to me in one of my favorite photos that now sits in a frame on our dresser. In another shot, my photog got the back of my dress/hair while I was sitting down...aaaaaand, you can totally see the top of the corset peeking out the top. Whoops. What I remind myself is that it doesn't take away from the emotion of the day, and, most likely, nobody else noticed/cared. Try not to let regret ruin your memories. Instead, post your photos here and let us gush over them!!

Congrats on your marriage! I had a very similar problem - I just got married too and my dress had to be taken in a lot at the waist (which looked great) but gave me a little extra arm/boob padding at the top of the dress (which looks way less than great). I didn''t realize it until I saw some friends'' photos and it''s only in certain positions. Anyway - don''t freak out!!! Just think about all the compliments I know you got about being a beautiful bride and how great I''m sure you felt and also realize that other people are almost certainly not going to be looking at your photos with the same critical eye that you are. And worst case? Just use the ones that doesn''t show it for super important prints! And then please show us some pictures because I remember your threads and was so excited for your wedding!

Aww I''m sorry you had that problem. I had a the same problem and then some. My dress looked great when I was standing, but when I would sit down I felt my boobs were on my NECK. In some photos they even look fake. On top of that, the boning in my corset failed (when I sat in the limo), so from the back in a lot of pictures it looks like I have back fat just STICKING OUT

I was upset over it at first, but then I remembered that there is Photoshop. Any weird sloppines can be removed from pictures, and I plan to have my photog remove my horrid looking back-fact-corset-failure-g-d-awfulness.

You say you like most of the pics, so use those for your album and portraits around the house. Those are the only people are going to see and remember!

I was there too - I really hated the way I looked in some of the wedding pictures. But you said there are some you really like, right? I''d take a step back, maybe not look at them for a week or so, and then go back to them with fresh eyes and really focus on the pictures you like. Also on what they represent - a joyous celebration of you and your new DH and your love for each other

now. im sorry, but i mean you can''t look Fabulous in all pictures, maybe some just aren''t the best.
im sure you looked amazing and it wasn''t that bad.
we would LOVE to see.........you know us PS''ers will give you our honest opinion.
maybe you are being too critical of yourself? ??

I was definitely horrified at how I looked at some of my pictures. I was sad at first that I couldn''t use some really cool shots because of how I looked (and I had boobage issues too). But now that I don''t look through ALL of the pics all the time, I only look through the ones I''ve ordered, chosen to be in our album, etc., I''ve mostly forgotten about all the horrible ones. It sounds like you''ll have enough to choose from, so just try to focus on those!
