Wedding Ring Band HELP! (Sapphire Halo Engagement Ring)

My fiance and I need help finding a band that will fit my gorgeous engagement ring. The stone is a 1.17 ct round cut sapphire. The band is a platinum halo setting with diamond melee stones. We would like to find a wedding band that will sit snugly against the ring. We are aware that a "wrap around" band or a "slip under" band may be an option, but we are unsure where to begin our search process. We'd appreciate any advice and input on vendors and welcome any other ideas on the wedding band style.

Your ring is beautiful! My real thought is that this ring looks good as it is, and I am not sure I'd wear a band with it. You could always wear a wedding band on one hand and this ring on the other. But if you really want a fitted band, you'll need to have one custom made to fit. I am sure someone like David Klass could do that for you, but you'd have to send him your ring so they could make it fit.

I second that David Klass could probably make something to fit around it but you would need to give him or who ever does it the ring to custom make it as it's not a common even shape either side.

What a stunning ring!!! I would personally wear it as a standalone ring and wear a wedding ring on your other hand like diamondseeker suggests. Or perhaps team it with a classic yellow or red gold wedding band. In that case I would try various jewellers in your neigbourhood.
I am afraid a band will take away from your gorgeous sapphire ring.

The concern I have with a fitted band is the shifting. If your ER shifts right and your WB shifts left they are no longer fitted together and that would drive me crazy. Now - if your fingers don't really shrink when it's cold out and your finger doesn't get much skinnier closer to your knuckles (like mine do) - it could work. There's always the option of having the band soldered to the ER, although most people here don't personally love that you can't wear one without the other should the need or the mood strike. Lots of people like a gap, which you stated is not your preference. Have you tried on a wedding band in the same width as your halo? Personally I think that might look very pretty. Whoever made your ring might have a suggestion too. Good luck and be sure to keep all of us updated on what you decide!!
