How many people have them? What goes on them? I am working another double tonight so have 5 more hours of absolutly nothing to do and figure I could design one.

I went thru the Knot and just used thier free one at first but they give you this looooooooooooong and complicated url that my grandmother would certainly never enter into a computer lol. I end up using Weddingtracker.com's wedding website and I really like it much better. Plus, our domain name is perfectly simple (ie. myfirstnameandhisfirstname.com). Comes with several templates and I had it up in a basic form within 10 minutes.

I end up using a 50% off coupon (from the Knot) for Weddingtracker.com's wedding website and I really like it much better. Plus, our domain name is perfectly simple (ie. myfirstnameandhisfirstname.com). Comes with several templates and I had it up in a basic form within 10 minutes.

I can make my own websites and have 4 free domains left I just don't know what links I should put. As some may know I can't put any work into this wedding so I want to get everything squared away ASAP so then i don't have to touch it again. The page will look something like this just at a maggieandroy.com domain, but I need more options to put on the left, are their registrys to link to? RSVP links? etc.

It''s not really something you can do before the planning starts, aside from maybe setting up the structure. You really have to work on it as you go along, which I know you don''t plan to do.

I made ours with Wedding Announcer and it''s pretty in-depth and geared at the out-of-towners and people that haven''t met both of us yet. The pages are:

Accommodations - hotel block info, with links

Restaurants - Our personal recommendations, focusing on non-chains, with links

Local Activities - our personal favorites, to keep people from getting bored, with links

Photo Albums - pictures from our relationship

Bridal Party - a list of all our attendants

About the music - Our music is a special part of the ceremony... I explain why on this page

Honeymoon - A little blurb about where we''re going

Guestbook - for people to leave us notes

Contacts - lists our address and email addresses

Gift Registry - lists our registries and links to the stores

For Bridesmaids - info for my attendants

For Groomsmen - info for his attendants


I''m also planning to add a Directions page and am currently lobbying for him to allow me to post our Match.com profiles that are the reason we met in the first place!
