This one is TOTALLY goofy and I laugh every time I look at it. This was just as we were starting the actual legal ceremony and my husband was so excited that he had the most bizarre look with his neck craning out Those are his vows clutched in his hand.

dancing with my baby sister. I just melt every time I see him with children even though kids are 4-5 years away I still cant help but imagine him a daddy.

The second picture is at the after party, our venue shuts down at 11 so we continued the party back at my parents house. Anyway DH is giving the camera his slightly inebriated zoolander face, holding a bottle of butterscotch schnapps (who drinks that stuff?!) and sporting the black eye I gave him at the reception. The black eye happened when my great grandmothers broach fell out of my hair while dancing and as I stood up DH was directly above me, maybe hunting for the brooch on the floor, and I slammed my head into his face...hard. I felt so bad and it was kinda earlyish in the night so we were quite sober but everybody made jokes about it because one of the chords in our ceremony went:
to me: might you ever cause him pain?
me: I might
to me: is that your intention?
me: no
then DH says same thing
To us: will you share each others pain and seek to ease it?
both: yes
My head hurt and his face did so we split a bag of ice and laughed about our "perfect timing" people kept remarking on how we are already fulfilling out wedding vows!

Here is mine! DH had just finished reading his vows to me. He was emotional and happy and I just love the way he's looking at me.

I look awful in this picture, but LOVE how DH is looking. He had been sniffling a bit earlier, but really started to cry right before this picture. We'd just exchanged rings and he'd presented me with my ketubah. He is usually NOT the emotional sort so I hadn't expected that he'd be the one sniffling through the ceremony!
