Weekend workout thread 9/9

So, I went to Wisconsin for a wedding last night, prepared not to eat much. All I did was eat. The wedding was very nice, and candy was EVERYWHERE. When you picked up your table cards, your table had a name ours was ''cookies and cream'', other examples were dreamcicle, turtle sundae, blueberry cheesecake etc 30 varieties. And ice cream cakes of that were brought to the table. And I made the rounds, to several tables...yummy.

Today since we were in Wisconsin and my bf''s mom flew out from LA, we drove to my moms lake house and ate all day. Went tubing as excercise and ate.

Tomorrow I start again. Anyone doing better than me?
 
I am trying, but you never know the night is not over. I did 11.63 miles today but in chunks. I went out this morning and walked with 5lbs, then this aftenoon with 25lbs, went jogging accordign to instructions for 2.89 miles with no weights. So over all I feel okay about exercising. I had half a container of Lit and Fit yougurt for lunch and a burger with ketchup

(or most of it) for dinner. I am doing well with water intake, 72ozs so far today.

Mrs Flutter- I think you need to cut yourself a little slack, you dont go to a wedding everyday so this is not likely to be repatative behavior. Enjoy your minivacation!
 
Flutter- what a great idea for naming tables, as the girl that ALWAYS checks out the desert menu first & the drink menu second- entrees are an after thought- that is right up my alley. You can''t fault yourself for celebrating happy occasions now and then! At WW there leaders always say "hey, its called a holiDAY not a holiWEEK. celebrate & get back on track" Of course that''s easier said than done.....

Matatora- honey, even if you don''t lose another ounce you will be fit & healthy! What amazing workouts!
I''m having a tough go of it- no exercise other than walking in NYC, bad w/the food. For me the only way is to write everything down and keep the calories at or around 1500 and get that hour of exercise in daily. I had the frustration of having to buy work clothes since I''m officially out seeing accounts every day and I am the largest size I''ve ever been

Yes, I have kept the 11.5 lbs off that I just lost but it shows how dire the situation really is- I could NEVER find pants in a misses size at this weight, its the plus size department all the way. And I did it to myself......I don''t want to be a fat bride next Oct

I joined the Bob Greene e-diets plan today, mainly just for the structured workouts. I''ll let everyone know what I think.
 
Oh FFF- I am sorry! That is such a bummer. You let me know if there is anything I can do to help. I know how you feel about only getting to shop in certain places, it stings. You are not going to be the "fat bride" next October. We can find a way to make things work for you...hell I will call you every morning to make you wake up if you want (now dont go hiding your cell.) Tell me how to help and I am there.

I got up this morning and did the walk/jog thing for 2 miles but I am not sure how long it took me. I had a banana for lunch. I love them! Soo good! It has been very stressful for me to be parted with my scale the last few days...I hate not knowing...I know that will be the first thing I do when I get home tonight is pop on the scale for a quick looksey. Hopefully I will have some positive news to post tommorow.
 
well i did alot of exercise this weekend in the way of walking, aka took the train to meet greg for dinner on friday so walked to the train station then about a mile to the restaurant; and yesterday walked around a downtown festival for about an hour and then to the train and then home. but eating...ha ha it''s been horrible all weekend. i decided i didn''t care because my weekeends are free days. we had singaporean for dinner on friday; then saturday i had spanish tapas lunch and 1/2 a pitcher of sangria! then last nite a heavy mexican dinner with the family and then this morning chorizo and eggs and tortillas! oh well it''s back to kbox tomorrow and salads for my during the week.

tonite greg is making SPAGHETTI..eeek! so there goes my carb count!

I ran the Arlinton 9/11 Memorial Race last night (it''s a 5K- 3.1 miles) then walked over 2 miles today at the America Supports You Freedom Walk from the Pentagon to the Mall.

I went another 7.74 miles tonight. I wanted to jog but the little article says to try not to more then three times a week...I am trying but I did a little. I am hoping to see good news on the scale tommorow morning. I ate two hot dogs, no bun, just vegtable salt. And then I glanced at the NI and each hot dog has 13gms of FAT. EACH ONE! So that means two hot dogs are equal to four slices of cheese pizza from the local in terms of fat. Those got chucked. Beh I am sabatogging myself with out even knowing it. I still belive I can make my goal by Xmas but as time passes that becomes less and less likely. Oh well every little bit counts, still I really want to be there by Christmas.

Thanks! Although, I do have to say that the highlight (lowlight?) was when a guy pushing a double running stroller blew by me at high speeds!

I did not exercise at all this weekend, and ate a ton because I attended a wedding on Saturday where they had a chocolate fountain and really great food.

I''m going to the gym during my lunch break today, and I''m going to have a chopped salad after I work out.
