Today is our 1 year anniversary and the ring has been done for a few days now. I thought that maybe the ff was going to try to surprise me and pay for it so that he could give it to me tonight when we go out to dinner (guess he wasn''t trying to throw me off for the last couple of weeks), but today I asked if I could go to the store to take a picture of the ring with the new camera that he bought me yesterday (yay anniversary presents) and he said sure. Probably wouldn''t have said that if he had it and was going to give it to me tonight...
So, I''m a bit disappointed that tonight isn''t the night, but at the same time really happy and excited that it''s our anniversary
. So much has happened over the last year. Just looking back on events it seems more like 3 or 4 years, but we''re more in love now than ever
and sometime with in the next 5 months he''s going to propose
. I really can''t fathom what this plan of his entails, but that doesn''t mean that I''m going to try to stop guessing
In case anyone was wondering what my honey got for the big day, I got him this sword:
It''s a Paul Chen Musashi Miyamoto Daito. Apparently it''s modeled after some famous guy who invented the two-sword fighting technique. He''d been talking about how much he wanted it since before we started dating, so when I found a good price online a few months ago I couldn''t wait to give it to him once I got it in the mail. So, he''s actually had it for a few months and it''s currently hanging on the wall in our bedroom. Sigh, if only he had the same impatience with gift giving that I do
