I am thrilled to announce.. We''re engaged!
Dinner kind of got messed up... the restaurant we were going to only had call ahead seating (no reservations!) so when he called, there was a 2.5 hour wait!!! (It''s a hot commodity downtown) He apparently had the ring in his pocket and when he found out we weren''t going there, he put it back! So we went to another restaurant that is very nice so I still knew something was up... He didn''t do it there (thank God). we came home after dinner, sat out on the front porch with some candles and had some drinks. (I was nervously slamming the Cosmos
so needless to say my head is killing me this morning) It was the most beautiful night. The weather was absolutely perfect, the moon was so bright. He finally did it about 11:30 pm.
The proposal was sweet, he pretty much talked for what I felt was forever! He talked about everything he did to be with me... (we met when we were both on a trip with friends and dated long distance for 1 yr) Moving 2 states away from his family, friends, job, everything he knew, to be with me, etc. and then something like "Not only do I want you to be my wife, I want you to be my best friend, my......"
anyway, it was really sweet and from his heart which is the only thing I wanted. so on to the pics!
