Hello Girls!

We did it! Thursday morning we drove to Mendocino and Saturday afternoon we were married on a cliff overlooking the ocean. Everything was perfect- the weather, the flowers, the hair, the makeup- everything! Hurray!

The location was even prettier than I remembered, our bed and breakfast was awesome with a jetted tub for two, champagne, breakfast in bed, etc. WOW!

We also were planning on eloping alone, but we had two crashers- my cousin and Derrick''s best friend Joe. I thought I would be mad, but I was so glad they were there!

I was so happy and so glowy! Everything went so well, it is hard to believe that nothing went wrong...Well, I won''t say nothing...

We had a small cake for two and on the ride up to Mendocino, it got a little warm. I was driving around a sharp turn and the top layer slide off. Ha! it was funny at the time cause DH said I was driving like a Nascar racer. However, the restaurant where we had our post wedding dinner fixed the cake for us and added flowers and raspberries to hide the boo-boo!

If you are thinking of eloping- DO IT! It is worth not having the stress!
Did I mention the Bed and Breakfast had a jetted tub for 2? ahhhhhhh.....

Mara and aljdewey- partners in crime- how fitting for you to post at the same time.

Mara- the hair was MONEY! You should have seen the sweet hippy that did my hair, she was awesome and this gorgeous girl with amazing porcelain skin and platinum dreadlocks! Ha! Her husband is a glass blower and she had all these hand blown beads in her hair. Fabulous!

I agree Al- those are my favorites too. I also love the one were he is smooching me on the cheek- so like him.

I think everything just turned out so perfectly! I couldn''t have asked for a better day!

Awww! Thanks girls! I know you can''t tell, but in the picture where DH is touching my face, he is wiping away tears. I was soooo good up until the vows and then the waterworks started.

I am so happy with how the pictures turned out! I love them!

RoseAngel04- I have known for many years that I wanted to elope and I am sticking to my decision. If I were to do it all again, I would still elope. It was romantic, so personal, so sweet, endearing, heart felt, emotional and completely about us!

Oh, and I forget the best part about eloping (other than marrying my best friend on a cliff, everything running smoothly and not having high stress), it''s the feeling to go all out. We went to the best restaurants every night. We got the nicest room in the bed and breakfast, we had dessert, drank the finest champagnes, good wine and didn''t feel guilty becasue we didn''t have a huge wedding.

It was great!

Girls, thank you SO MUCH for all of your amazingly sweet comments. I am still a blushing bride. Everyone had been so kind regarding our marriage, our new life together and those pictures.

I can truly say I am very blessed and so fortunate to have found such a wonderful man!

HouMedGal- I keep forgetting to write in your picture post! You look so great and I love the tan suit on your hubby! We almost went with that look too, but Mendocino sand is grey, so it just didn''t look right.
