we''re moved in!

yay! finally! in our own place again! time to start living our 4 month old marriage already! I hate moving with a passion. Our poor puppy was SO confused at first, like where am I, that she tried to RUN AWAY! She made her way up the outside stairs (DH had her off the leash which made me mad)to the apartment, and she looked around and then turned around and started to run! Now this was the day after the DC snow storm so there was snow and ice everywhere I am am trying to chase this 9 lb dog (who by the way is smaller than the snow was tall...watching her hop and make her way through the snow was hilarious although scary that I wouldnt catch her) down the block. Finally I faked her out for a treat and she ran back to me and I grabbed her. That Molly gave me a scare!

The best part is using all our new wedding presents which we never unpacked after the wedding! Opening the boxes was like Christmas...all these new and unused toys!!!

Congrats, PNP! I got a giggle out of picturing you chasing after your doggie! My friend who lives in NJ sent me some pics of her beagle in the snow in their backyard and IT IS DEEP!!! TG spring will come along soon enough and you''ll get to enjoy the rest of your surroundings. Glad to hear you''re doing well in your new environment!

hehe punchie, portia loves the snow and she looks like a bunny in it because in tahoe it''s taller than she is!! so she had to keep hippity hopping to not really fall in....thank god i had her on leash when were there last year!

At one time I went back and counted and figured that I had moved something like 15 times in 13 years...

Now I have been in the same place for over 5 years...

Of course, I tend to accumulate things now. Moving a lot tended to keep the accumulatables down.

Congrats on your move! I know what you mean about hating to move. It''s great that you are getting settled in. We want to move this year and I dread the process. (But long for that settled feeling...) And cute story about your puppy!
