WF Preset Studs vs. ACA 0.75-1ctw

Does anyone have WF Preset studs and ACA diamond stud earrings that can comment on how they compare performance wise? Is there a big difference in sparkle/performance between the two? Any reason to not go with one vs. the other? My wife is looking for a pair of every day studs. I realize the preset ones are not eligible for upgrades, however, she doesn't think she will want to upgrade in the future. Expert selection seem like a happy medium but none available at this time...Open to other suggestions/vendors as well (e.g. BN/JA with WF parameters?), just want high performers and a decent value.

She may not want to upgrade but many do - even though they thought they wouldn’t! I was glad I had the option as I did use it. Have you talked to Whiteflash about their options? I would give them a call and am sure they would love to speak with you as well! Very friendly and customer oriented!

Those look like a beautiful pair, even though they're on the smaller end of what she's looking for. That being said, they are ACAs and would be eligible for an upgrade should she change her mind in the future! I may also inquire with WF to see if they expect new ACA/ES inventory in the new year.

Definitely ask about the specs you’re looking for. I bought a stone with my desired specs, had them hold it until another similar one came through to make my match.

Yes I did! It was worth the peace of mind that I could always upgrade them in the future. Or use them as side stones in a three stone ring and get the proportions exactly right. But check out their single stones if there's not a pair you like on the site. I got an I, SI2 that was a wonderful value and waited for another to come up.

if you navigate to the settings, you can select a carat weight for pre-set diamonds (see below). These will not be ACAs and thus not eligible for upgrade but I'm sure WF does a nice job selecting a matching pair of stones. Hoping others can comment who have gone this route though!
