Hi everyone, I ordered my replacement e-ring a month ago and received the photos of the ring from Whiteflash yesterday. My immediate reaction is that the setting looks crooked, leaning to the left. It looks like the entire ring is leaning left. What do you all think? Is this just a bad photo where the ring isn't held straight or a problem of the setting job? I'd also like to hear from those more knowledgeable than I on the setting height. I didn't ask for anything special as my understanding is the Vatche U-113 would be set medium. To my eye it looks good but my last ring was set too low and I'm wanting to avoid that. Is this a good medium height?

I asked for profile and top-down pictures because I asked for petite tab prongs as small and delicate as possible and wanted to see them straight on. I like the finish of the ends of the prongs and how they are placed on the diamond in relation to the arrows, but they seem to stick out pretty far from the diamond. Would it be reasonable to ask if these be brought in closer or would that not be possible?

I did let WF know that I had these concerns and they have passed my message to their production team. Maybe I just need better photos to determine how it really looks. Interested in any thoughts or opinions!

I question whether the ring is centered in the middle in the picture. If not, it would make everything look off.

I think the prongs look great. They are close to the diamond and need to be a certain thickness for strength.

As far as the other concern goes…I drew a vertical line in the center of the photo and it appears that the ring is not photographed in a perfectly plumb position. If it were rotated to the right a degree or two I think all would look perfect. At least to my eye.

This is super helpful, thank you so much for doing this!! The more I look at it the more I think this too. Glad to hear your thoughts on the prongs looking good since I was super anxious about them when I ordered!

I added one more horizontal line above the table of the diamond and you can see how a shift to the right would make the table perfectly horizonal as well. Enjoy your new ring, it’s beautiful!

Very very helpful, thank you so much! WF said their master jeweler inspected and can make a slight improvement. But not sure exactly what that is. I will update with new images! Thanks everyone!

Hi! Just wanted to follow up and see if you are happy with the modifications Whiteflash did for you? Can you post pictures of the ring?

Thank you,

That is so funny! Same thing happened to me. I thought I was going nuts because it looked crooked by about 4-5 degrees, but then we did all sorts of measurements with my husband and I was right. I just sent it back today and am so nervous... How did yours turn out?

Below is the picture we sent to them.
