Music? Choregraphed dance? Nothing? Please share!!

We're (BP, parents and us) entering in to "I Gotta Feeling" by Black Eyed Peas, but we're stopping it right before he goes "Here we come here we go" then our DJ is going to recue the song, we'll come in, then get introduced.

We won''t be doing anything. It''s just not us to have a big entrance. The wedding will be in the back garden of our venue and then we''ll move inside for a cocktail hour or hang out outside with our guests. We want it to be low-key.

We did not have anything like this, but we did not really have a reception either. We just went to meet our guests for dinner in the resort dining room after (the staff had set up the tables into a square for us by the fireplace). DH and I just sort of ambled in and sat down!

Just was not our style to have a big entrance and we wanted it to be pretty laid-back.

Big entrances aren''t our thing either. We just sort of walked in to our cocktail hour and people noticed we were there. The photographer didn''t even get a shot of it because he was putting down his stuff from doing our portraits.

I was in one wedding where each bridal party couple picked a song to be introduced to, it was pretty fun - the best man and I picked "eye of the tiger." For our wedding, we didn''t want anything that difficult to arrange, so we just picked one song - This Will Be by Natalie Cole. We used it as a nod to e-harmony since that''s how we met. I''m not sure how many people picked up on the connection but we liked it.

Our wedding party each picked out a song that represented them and then did whatever they wanted to it. It was neat seeing the mix i.e my father picked Motley Crue, my one sister Bird is the Word, another Aerosmith, so on....
We walked in and were introduced to Carmina Burana O Fortuna (think Dracula) - which was really dramatic with the red lights and strobes. It was very cool!

Cute! DH and I met on e-harmony too.

After our ceremony was done, DH and I DID play I'm Alive by Kenny Chesney and Feeling Good by Michael Buble as people gathered around for some mingling and pictures, which are both sentimental songs for us. We had made up a mix of songs to play through our ceremony at various times (DH chose most of them....he would feel all teary over a certain song and be like we need THAT song on there) but we really only ended up playing a couple of them in the end, and so most were never heard as we never had a reception dance or anything. We still have the CD though anyway in our little memory box and it was fun to make! And we listened to it on the plane rides there and back so it still got incorporated into our wedding somehow!

I think I''m going to ask our jazz band to play "Another One Bites the Dust" by Queen.

We''re not going to do anything, I think.

Our venue doesn''t lend itself well to an entrance spatially, so I may just take the mic at dinner and introduce our wedding party myself, thank everybody for coming, and pass it off to my dad.

Our bridal party and parents came in to "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" and then we entered to "You''re my Best Friend" by Queen.

I didn't want to do anything! But my DJ said we had to come in somehow, so I picked a song (something by Sinatra, on the fly) and he introduced us as we walked in. That was that. Since the cocktail area opened right into the dining room, I would have preferred just walking in with the guests and I wish we had just done that.

The Beverly Hills Cop theme! Pretty funny song, upbeat, plus, FI just got hired as a police officer, so it''s fitting for him!

We did the Black Eyed Peas "I Gotta Feeling" song too...expect I don''t think we re-cued stuff. That sounds complicated- ha ha. It was a blur- I don''t remember much of the entrance (but we also had a choreographed first dance I was freakin'' out about at the time- b/c it was next!)

We did Europe''s "Final Countdown". It worked out perfectly that we entered on the big drumbeat!

Our venue has a staircase that leads from the bridal party suite down to the reception room so we''re doing an entrance down the stairs. We don''t usually like to be the center of attention but this is a once in a lifetime thing so we''re going to do it. We''re using "Accidentally in Love" by the Counting Crows - It''s such a fun song.

We did the bridal party intros to The Final Countdown. It was hilarious, especially to me!

My husband and I jogged in a little and everyone high-fived us on the way in. I think I have a picture of it...yep!

Our band played the theme song from Curb Your Enthusiasm and announced us as we walked into the reception.

Thing and Haven- that''s really funny.

You guys have some really awesome ideas!!!!!! I LOVE the different songs for each BP couple!

I have no idea what to do for mine. But one of my friends got married on 8-8-8. The made an "olympics video" introducing each of the wedding party members .. it was wonderful and I think about the only wedding entrance I remember.

we did nothing, it wasn''t that kind of wedding - but I love reading about everyone''s entrances - such neat music choices :)

Ha I must have missed your post in the 20 minutes it takes for me to resize a photo and post it! (Computer is SLOOOOOOOOW and resizing is the MOST ANNOYING THING IN THE WORLD.) Our timing worked out perfectly just like yours, too! *high five*

BP walked in to the opening of "Battle Without Honor or Humanity" from Kill Bill, and DH and I walked in where it really picks up. Then we immediately went into out first dance of "At Your Most Beautiful" by R.E.M.

My best friend had us walk in to "Send Me On My Way" by Rusted Root, and then they entered to a "Welcome to the Jungle"/"Walk This Way" mashup.
