My favorite sources of "news" are Us Weekly, In Touch and Star! They all have exactly the same information but I just have to look at all of them. Great pictures and great gossip. A very guilty pleasure for me too, Kaleigh!!

Oh, it''s totally my guilty pleasure too! I look forward to the arrival of my US Weekly and In Touch. Started reading a little of Life & Style, but it''s basically a duplicate of In Touch.

Gossip magazines rule, but I don't buy them very often. Usually I pick up People, but only a couple times a month because I have other magazines that I buy to feed my brainless reading addiction - like fashion magazines!

ETA - I'm about to head out to the store and this post has got me thinking I should pick up a few trashy magazines just for fun.

(I don't want to hear about Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, though. They're kind of boring!

US Weekly, I have a subscription, love it!

But I usually read it in all of 20 minutes...they need to make them more substantial!

I get a subscription to In Touch (it''s so cheap, at less than 1.99 an issue for subscription)...and each issue occupies me for an entire hour, plus a few extra moments when I go back to look at pictures before I recycle the issue to another coworker...but I''m not going to renew after this year is up because the one that comes in the mail is like, 3 weeks behind the one that''s on the newsstand and the news is OLD by then!!! Bummer. I do like the mag...but hate having it as a subscription.

That's why I like to buy them, but makes my hubby so mad because I'm loosing money that way. But the last thing I want is old news!!!!

My sister gets People Magazine. She passes them along to another sister. When that sister is finished, she passes them to me. This process takes a while.

So...Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston are splitting, eh?

If I could only have one I would take USweekly, but I also buy In Touch and I have a subscription to People which doesn''t really count as a gossip magazine as much as the other two. I love the "Loose Talk" section in US. My boyfriend acts annoyed when I buy them, but I catch him reading them all the time.

Yes I agree if I could only have one it would be US Weekly, but I just love In Touch. Patty, too funny!!!

My US Weekly actually comes on Thurs of every week and I get it before it hits the stores normally...

Alot of times if I don't get it on Thurs I freak out and think it's 'lost' since that has happened before and then I *have* to go get one at the newstand but many times they only have LAST WEEKS'!

So I LOVE the subscription...I've been tempted to get InTouch sub...I know it has much of the same stuff but I like the pictures..

but not if it's behind all the time!

Funny about the man of the house scoffing at the gossip mags...Greg is the same way but I catch him reading it ALL THE TIME. And he loves the last few pages of USW where they rip on bad outfits and stuff. Men!

I also buy the National Inquire from time to time. I know one of the senior reporter''s Michael Glynn. His brother went to college with me. It''s fun to read his articles!!! But for some reason I am embarassed when I buy it!!!!

LOL - I know, it''s like the pinnacle of trash mags and for some reason, seems sillier to buy that one than the others...!! I bought Star once and made sure no one was looking when I tossed it in the cart.

I totally agree with you! I too subscribe to In Touch and I get them weeks late!
Maybe I should switch over to US Weekly.

They''re basically the same!

My fiancee gets US Weekly.

US Weekly all the way. I agree that they need to make them more substantial, they only last me a few minutes.

I love US Weekly. I especially love the pics of the stars that are labeled as them being "real people, doing real people activities." I also have to check in with PageSix in the NY Post everyday on-line. Lastly I find the "gawker stalker" at gawker.com amusing. Everyday people e-mail their NY celeb sightings. All of which help me to take a break out of my stressful day for a while.

I have a subscription to The New York Post, and love it. I love reading page 6, it''s great.
Onedrop, thanks for the heads up on gawker.com I''ll have to check it out!!!!!
