Is a store or private individual selling it?

Private individual

It's hard to get a great sense from the pictures alone, but I think it looks promising and I really like the fatter shape! (I want a fat EC too haha) Based on the pics I would want to make sure that the facets in the middle of the stone perform well. @Karl_K has described checking to see if you can "walk" the light across the stone like piano keys when you move it back and forth (sorry if I butchered that description).

It looks sooooo pretty!! When will you go view it?

You find the coolest things! Keep us updated.

It is responding to a large degree to obstruction in the images. This is not unusual in pics, check it in person.
View it in many lighting conditions rocking it back and forth mainly across the short sides. Look for static nice patterns and does it dance when moved?
Walking the light across the stone as it rotates is a trick a well cut one can do very well.
Assume the egl grades are atleast 2 grades off and value accordingly unless the report is egl Israel then assume 3 grades off.
If local meeting at an appeasers is a good idea.

Ok. From the very blurry pic these are the numbers I can make out:
2.10 carat

8.17 x 7.25x 4.44
H, si1
Faint blue fluorescence

Depth 54.5
Table 67
Crown 10.9
Pavilion 41.1
Polish very good. Symmetry good
Egl usa

Lol. This one fell on my lap. I’m not even in the market for it tho I have always said that I would love an emerald cut!

Ty! Will definitely check for this is I go back.

Ty! I posted the stats as best as I could make out from the blurry pic. Egl USA. Also. The band I set it against is at least an I color if not better? If that helps to gauge the color of the stone.

that would explain the obstruction, it comes down to eyeballs how bad it is in real world viewing.

Its not possible to give a reasonable opinion on color based on the info provided.

I saw It yesterday and can go again tomorrow.

ooo what did you think about it in person? it looks gorgeous!

I think bc I didn’t know what to look for, it did intrigue but I didn’t have the chance to see it under different lighting conditions. So I don’t want to make rash judgements.

What do you mean? Lol

I think he means that based on the angles, it may show the obstruction (darkness) in more conditions than you might like.

bingo!
It might or might not be an issue in real world viewing but it would be more likely to have an issue.

Another video. At this point the stone was prob dirty from me touching it for a while

So my thoughts. It’s a bit warm. Definitely not an H but it’s quite a chameleon and seems to lighten up under the sun. It does have few black Carbon dots by one corner but I didn’t notice much else for inclusions. The Egl USA certificate is from 2011 so I would have to recertify at my cost. Asking price is 9300 firm.

I looooooooove it!!! It looks more like an antique cut, which I love

The pictures look good.
So were talking a comp of 2.10ct around j-k color and si2
clarity by the sounds of it.
Price is near full retail price, way over priced.

Wow! Ok. Thank you!

@Karl_K —I forgot to mention this is the total price. I ran a search and couldn’t find any comps for 8600 plus tax. Also. Do you think it performs well?

I love the look overall, but can't speak to how fair (or not) the price is.

Ty! That’s really what I’m looking for—an evaluation of the stone. I think price I’ll keep comping to see.
