What color are you?

It is not politically incorrect, just an attempt to make it funny, since we have so many blue, green, red, orange (and now even pink) threads. And to me "red is my color" sounds as old-fashioned as "a little black dress".

With gems, I would like to be blue, violet and purple. According to what I have bought, I am mostly orange and green, and will become more orange, for sure. Starting to turn red at the corners, though.

I started out light blue and white and have become orange and a medium blue and green... and a bit more neon overall.

I like this topic! It made me ponder my collection in a different way; it let me focus on what I have and what I wear rather than what I plan to (or hope to) acquire next.

So, I used to be Mozambique garnet shade of red but now I''m Tanzanite blue and moving into Tourmaline green. My collection itself however is rather rainbow oriented, with most colors of the spectrum represented.

Turquoise blue for sure (if people havnt noticed HAHA!). I am also drawn to vivid orange, and pink. I LOVE the vivid colors.

I am blue and purple. Funny though that I never thought about it until now.

I believe I oscillate between being a vivid, saturated sapphire blue (sometimes with a flash of violet), and a bright and fresh peridot green. Both are also very grounding colours for me.

Funnily enough, DH has often commented he *sees* me as green. Indeed he thinks a green stone would have been more representative of me over blue for my ring - I told him the blue matches his eyes better - ha ha! Honestly if peridot was more durable it would have been a big contender and a tough choice!

DH ranges from a strong orangey-red to a vivid blue. You should see his closet or our bathroom towels - he''s like a crow going after shiny objects...only he goes for these bright colours!

If I were a crayon, I would be yellow. Gem wise, I''m drawn towards lavender/purple/violet, blues and yellows.

I started my gem collection with the blues - aqua, sapphire and tanzanite. Then I got some reds - garnets and rubies. Then I ventured in to orange and green. The only color I don''t really have in a RHR is yellow only because I don''t think yellow looks good on my skin.
