What color shoes for my BM dresses??

I need shoe help...again

...You all helped me so much picking my shoes that I thought you could help again with the bridesmaid shoes too...

So here''s my question. What color/type of shoes will go well with this dress? The dress will be eggplant and the trim ivory.

I have some people telling me purple...which I think would be hard to match the same purple as the dress
I have some telling me ivory...which I guess I don''t mind too much but does white shoes on anyone but the bride in December look weird?
and I have some people telling me black...which there''s no black in the dress and I think it''ll look weird? Yes/No?

I also need different heel heights for all the girls...some girls want to wear really high heels...like 4+ inches...some lower, and my sister will break her neck if she tries to wear any heal at all...I know that people wont be able to see their shoes since the dress is long but I''d like for them to coordinate somewhat. I have 7 BM''s by the way

I think gold strappy heels would compliment eggplant and ivory.

For almost all of the weddings I have been in with long dresses, we have been told to wear whatever strappy black shoes we want. I also like Marlie''s idea of gold shoes. Something that bridesmaids already have, or could wear again are great. With long dresses, you really aren''t going to be able to see their feet anyway, and even if they peek out, a similar style and color will be cohesive enough.

I was going to suggest silver, even better that it''s one of your wedding colours! And silver shoes will be easy enough for your girls to find in multiple heel heights.

I was going to say gold, too, but silver also works, and if it''s also one of your colors, it''s perfect! My bridesmaids also wore silver shoes, and their shoes ranged from a pair of 5" stiletto d''orsays to strappy 2" sandals to ballerina flats, and it looked good, so it''s an easy color to find at multiple heights and price points.

I''m going to recommend that you choose a color and just ask your girls to find shoes in that color.

Silver sounds like a fab idea, they might actually for real get to wear them again etc.
