What color tuxedos??

I feel like I am asking alot as I just posted a question about wedding CDs; however, I need some more advice. Here is a picture of my BM dresses

I have having the exact color shown however it is a bit stronger than shown in the picture. Not fuschia or magenta but nt quite a dull in the picture. If anyone is familiar with Lazaro BM dresses the color is called Spice.

The dilemma is what color tuxedos should the GMs wear? My fiance will be wearing a classic single breasted black tuxedo with the white vest and white tie. I want the GMs to be a bit different that him by wearing a different color vest. I was thinking a black vest. Do you think that is too dark and too much black for a spring May wedding? I thought the black vest would be fine but now I am having second thoughts. The color of the dresses is such an usual shade of pink that I would nevr find vests to mathc exactly, nor would I want to....I think that''s a bit olde school(in my opinion). The dress has a slightly gold undertone so the girls are wearing gold shoes. How about a gold tone vest? Please help me with suggestions and/or pictures if need be.

Also, to answer your question about the shoes. I would do a copper shoe instead of gold.

I think the GM's should wear the black vest/black tie combo. Dont worry about it being too dark for a May wedding. That is a classic tuxedo look....the season/weather should not matter. You can't go wrong.

For our September wedding, my DH wore white vest/tie, and the GM's wore black vests/ties with their classic black tuxedos. The bridesmaids wore Amsale satin gowns in a chocolate brown color. Everyone looked great.

I''m going to go against the grain and say that I think gold would look better than black. I love the way a nice gold vest looks with a tuxedo. I only think it can look bad if it''s poor quality.

i vote for the black on black over grey or off-black color since i think the grey or off-black won''t mesh as well with your BM dress gold undertones. can''t go wrong with the black on black combo - it always looks classy and elegant. i think it provides a nice contrast to your FI''s white and black combo.

i do not like the idea of the gold as i think it is very hard to not have a magician-y/circus-y effect and it is too matchy matchy with the BM dresses.

My wedding is a daytime wedding. The whole thing will be over with by 5pm. The reception is from 1-4pm. I am hoping for weather is the high 70s. It''s in NYC and Memorial Day Weekend is usually a nice weekend here.

I just love the classic look; however, I needed other opinions. My fiance is great...He basically told me to tell him what to wear. He''s not too picky I''m so glad I asked you ladies....THANKS!!!!

I think that those shoes will be fine with the BM dresses. Those colors complement eachother. Also, I wouldnt worry so much about it. In reality, its not like anyone even sees their shoes that often with those floor length gowns.

My bm's also wore soft gold shoes with their chocolate brown dresses. They looked beautiful.

The only thing I would say is make sure its the *right* shade of gold....a soft gold, not a super-metallic-ey one. You know what I mean?
