What did you leave until the last minute?

Freke''s thread about regrets got me thinking about one that a lot of my married friends have mentioned: leaving too much to finish at the last minute so they weren''t able to enjoy the time leading up to the wedding. I''m trying to avoid the last minute rush but maybe it''s inevitable. (I''m not doing favors partly for this reason.) What sorts of things were you scrambling to get done the week of the wedding that you could''ve done sooner? Were there other things you were busy with that just couldn''t be avoided?

I didn't feel a last-minute rush. There were things done last minute, but it didn't feel crunched or stressful.

Stuff I did way too late: flowers (2 weeks before), nailing down hair stylist and having trial (2 weeks before), putting together centerpieces (day before). The centerpieces were the only "oh crap" thing, but the family that was in town got together and finished it in under 1/2 hour with an assembly line

No big stress here.

I had a spreadsheet with 'deadlines' that I tried to stick to. That helped to minimize the accidentally-forgotten stuff. But I also told myself to let go of any plans that we just didn't have time for - which worked out just fine.

I''m leaving the ceremony decor and the OOT bags for last minute.

I left OOT bags till the last minute and ended up deciding I didn''t have enough money or energy to do them, but then my MIL made them for me.

The darn escort board! That board is the sole reason I transformed into a bridezilla the day before the wedding. People kept calling last minutes saying they couldn''t come, so I started inviting other people, and the board wasn''t done till the night before. BLAH!

We had a nice evening planned for the family and me and my mom were not able to go hang out because of it

We''re leaving favors, BM''s shoes, my jewellery, mass booklets. Can''t think of anymore at the moment but I''m sure there''s lots more.
