What do you think about a J centre with F-G halo?

Personally, I prefer when the centre stone and the melee are either similar colours or very far apart. For a J centre I would prefer I-J melee, or something like fancy light yellow melee.

I just mentioned in another thread that I wouldn’t choose that combo. I have no issue with J colored main stone - would just want to accent it with similar color stones

I don’t think I can find a premade setting with lower color stones- they all seem to have F-G

I have a J center with G melee all around and I can’t notice a difference Also my band below it is all G diamonds too. granted its not a halo, but still plenty of little G’s all around my J

When I go the custom route, I usually ask for the melee to be in the same or close color of the main stone. That being said, if you are looking for a pre-made setting, I think that @Maisie's ring is beautiful and the color difference wouldn't bother me. Even melee in the same color as the main stone, because they are so small, often look whiter anyway.

I have had this same problem where I liked a low color stone.

I would be really hesitant about that combo. It does look ok in the photos but I wonder about different lighting environments
