What do you think about this blue tourmaline?

Do you have more (vendor) pics?
Based on this pic I do like the color, but it seems more teal/green than blue on my screen. I also like the Asscher cut.

I see an almost colorless part at the top. Not sure whether that’s just the photo or that it is bi-colored.
What are the specs?

Yes maybe it’s a bit more teal.
It’s 7.3 mm by 7.3 mm and it’s been taken indoors. It’s not bicolour but. I’ll get more tomorrow. It needs to be cleaned and the vendor will take pics in daylight for me. Here’s what I have right now but I’ll upload tomorrow too. Im not sure if it’s worth the money. It’s 400 usd and nearly two carats. It’s precision cut though. Nice pleasant cut. It’s been a real struggle finding anything blue enough for me so thought of giving this a go! Would love your inputs

I would ideally like a bright blue like this or like my barry blue tourmaline which is lovely but it’s small. I have a pair of proper indicolites but I want something light in colour like these.

Yes I probably should stop looking but it seems to have become a habit!

Pretty color, but I’ll echo what others are saying. It’s more aqua/teal, not blue. I love the cut as well!

As long as it’s somewhat aqua coloured
They cal this a lagoon colour and not indicolite. But lagoon is used in so many different ways now

How blue does a tourmalines me have to be in order to qualify as an indicolite? I have a funky, silver, tourmaline bracelet with all colors of tourmaline. They are all cabs. Some of the blue tourmalines in that bracelet are almost violet. I would say that those are indicolite without a doubt. I’m sure some are borderline.

That’s true it’s such a broad spectrum that it’s hard to define. I just call One colour indicolite now but that’s just for simplicity - the classic blue here in the picture

I did get more pics but I think it wasn’t saturated enough for me so I have let it go.

Would a zircon be a good option for you? They come in the colors you are looking for

I’ve thought of that but I’m drawn also to rarity! And for that I’m still after a Tourmaline. Zircon is my back up! Thank you for your suggestion
