Not an expert but just looking at the pictures it looks super milky!

Its not a well cut stone but, you probably wont get a well cut stone in that size for that amount of money.

Is the photo the actual diamond? it looks chipped and abraded.

It has a few chips on the facet corners and it's not well cut. What are your priorities? It's a good size for that price, but that's about it.

I am new myself but after scouring pricescope for a while I have come away with only being comfortable buying GIA graded diamonds...
Possibly EGL USA but if I did it would be knowing that their grading would not be comparable to GIA grading anyway so to me iy would not be worth it unless it was some awesome old cut that I have read is rarer to be GIA graded (although me personally I think I will stick with GIA). Now if I were a pro I could pick anything from any grading house b/c I would know what I would be getting despite whatever their report said, but since I'm not I feel only comfortable w/ GIA where I know an "H" color will be an "H" color. Also GIA graded stones cannot be enhanced in anyway, other graded stones could be, and that may not be disclosed.

To me in that photo (if it's even the real photo b/c it's an ebay seller, you don't know always) it looks way too tinted to be a real H. So you are prob not getting an H if you were to receive it and compare to a real H it wouldn't be the same color. The video looked enhanced to me, just didn't even look real.

Here is a GIA stone http://www.b2cjewels.com/dd-4651724-0.62-carat-Round-diamond-K-color-SI1-clarity.aspx now I know it's a K but since it's a GIA K it's probably going to be a lot whiter than this IGL stone you bought on ebay. It's .62 but it's 5.46 mm vs the other one that is 5.66mm, no one will notice that difference in size. Also B2C jewels (or bluenile.com, brilliance.com etc.) has 30 day hassle free return policy. I have bought from b2c and blue nile (brilliance was nice I just didn't go w/ them but i would use them). I find that B2C generally has the lowest prices though.

Good luck to you, I would not take that diamond. At the very least I can tell you it's not an H and it's prob not an SI2 and I can guarantee you it won't be an eye clean Si2. The B2C one is Si1 and it will most likely be completely eye clean! When you buy a GIA it will be worth something if you were to sell, if you buy something like this it's not going to be worth much of anything. That's what I have learned at least! I am thankful to pricescope for really being helpful to the consumer, for people who are prosumers or in the trades, they know what they are getting by physically seeing it, they have the tools to see if it's been clarity enhanced etc, and notice things a layman (or laywoman lol) wouldn't.

The difference in price in these two stones is $367. So for $367 you at least know you are getting what it says you are getting. To me that is priceless. Some people will argue well you are paying less so you already know you are getting less, but to me I would counter--- well yes but you just don't know HOW much you are getting less. You know they are making money off that stone, this is not a private seller selling it for a loss, so since there are not the same standards at IGL like at GIA I think it is definitely not worth the money, even though it is "less" money. Again just my opinions, but good luck to you though in your decision! I would not take it if it were me!
