What does PS think of these sapphires?

These are 0.75 cttw natural sapphire (heated) in 18k yellow gold. What do you think of these sapphires?

It was kind of hard keeping the studs stable while taking photos with a phone. The first photos as in LED light. The last several photos are in overcast natural light from the window. Overall the lighting in my house is super dim and very unflattering so keep that in mind. I'm going to try to take better photos when the sun decides to come out one day.

For me and my tastes they're dark. But then again I'm also dark and they would not look great on me.

But its not about me.(lol) How do you feel about them?

I think they would be a little dark for my tastes. I like royal blue sapphires - but small studs on ears isn't optimal for showing off deeper colors IMO. They might get a bit lost.

Cost is also a factor. If you paid $200, I'd feel very differently than if you paid $2,000

I also feel like ear shots would be more informative, because that is actually how you will be wearing them - holding them up to the light is the best they are ever going to look!

I would go for lighter and brighter stones for earring studs because of the location. Stuff worn at the ears don't get much light and everything ends up looking darker. Hair blocks a lot of light from reaching them.
