I saw this on the lightbox website (for stones over 1ct size) and also on some of the diamond grading reports when jewelry is for sale.
When Lab diamonds first were introduced more widely about 5 years ago I learned alot about how they were made and the two different manufacturing methods. I don't remember seeing anything about the post treatment. What exactly does that do? What does it mean for the stone and the value and longevity?
I do know they do that for colored lab diamonds but I am not interested in that. I just would like to know for colorless or near colorless stones.
Thank you so much.
