What forms of payment do you accept?

I am looking to list a ring on LT, and it's value will be in the thousands. As a private seller, what forms of payment do you accept from buyers for a piece of this cost?

So do I just contact the bank for wiring instructions? I've never sent or received via wire, so I don't know all the ins/outs and pros/cons.

Is there any seller protection if Paypal is used?

I see most people don't accept returns - is that for any real reason other than to avoid hassle?

Should be in the $7-8k range.

For something in that price range, I would absolutely provide a return period. Unless you are well known around PS (I don't know if that is the case in your situation), there are very few people who will risk that much money on a final sale situation.

Yes, ask your bank for the routing # into your account. Money can ONLY be deposited into your account and can't be withdrawn. 100% safe..

Paypal is easiest but be aware they charge fees on any transaction.
