what happy holidays...

for some of us!!!! Huge hugs to Appletini and Matatora on their recent engagements!!! I haven''t been on the computer for the weekend and I''ve missed alot! The rings are GORGEOUS!!!

Well, things MAY be happening by the end of the year- not sure yet. I was at my BF''s place this weekend and saw this litle brochure on his phone table. I went nuts on the inside because on the cover was a pic of a solitaire. It was sort of tucked under some mail when I noticed it, but I walked by, didn''t point it out, didn''t ask what it was, didn''t indicate that I had even seen it sitting there. (trying to be good) Later on while watching tv, BF pops out of his chair syaing "oh, I forgot to show you this." He hands me the the little booklet. It was a guide to diamond buying from a jeweler out of state. Every page detailed the 4 c''s, what all the measurements mean, what''s average, what''s excellent, what''s poor, what an ideal cut should be and its dimensions, the different shapes... on and on. I read through it and he says "what do you think?" I asked ok, why do you have this?" Turns out his sister brought it with her from a jeweler in NC (where she lives now) I was calm and said oh, ok. He sits in front of me and says "well I needed a good guide since I have to buy one soon." I just smiled at him. He says "yes, I know you don''t believe me, but just you wait." (like I''m not waiting already)

Hmmm... 11 days left of the year...

I mean, I realized long ago that he is a MASTER at procrastinating. In the past I have had to turn the tv off and pull him out of a chair otherwise we would be late to get somewhere, or pulling the A I S theory to light a fire under him to get going. He hasn''t even done his gift shopping yet! But 11 days? Think even an excellent craftsmen can pull that off??

I''ve been following your story and I hope the procrastinator pulls through! 11 days...I hope he''s got something in the works...but if not, it could come in a temporary setting so that you could do the rest....in any case...I hope he gets off his arse! At least members of his family are trying to help!!!
