What do you plan on wearing, perfume-wise, on your wedding day? Nothing I wear lasts very long, even if I use body wash, lotion and body spray. Perfumes fade even faster...what do you wear and what do you recommend?

Come time of the wedding I''ll wear my usual winter perfume, Allure from Chanel. I loooove this perfume.

In the summer I like wearing Angel Innocent sometimes.

I doubt I''ll wear anything...scents give me headaches sometimes and I dont want to risk triggering a migraine! Perfumes rarely smell good on me, they usually smell acidic, except for chanel sensual elixer. I may put a tiny bit on my back, but not my neck b/c if I smell it too much I''ll get sick haha.

Ocean Dreams - Giorgio Bevery Hills

This stuff is awesome. Every guy I have asked about it loves it! And my fiance the most! It drew him in :)

Angel - Thierry Mugler

I wore "Happy" it''s the scent I wear everyday.
I love it.

I was going to wear Curve, my signature, but forgot to bring it to the church and wore a BM''s Happy instead (which I like as well).

I was reading a magazine and it had the suggestion to get a new scent that would be your "wedding" perfume and anytime you''d put it on, you''d be reminded of that day. i thought it was a cute idea. i don''t normally wear perfume, but i stumbled across l''occitane''s eau d''azur in both a solid and a spray and it was perfect. fresh. pretty.

Like LovelyLuLu said, I''ve read about wearing a scent that you don''t normally wear so that it will always remind you of your wedding. I just bought a layering set from Philosophy in their "Falling in Love" fragrance. It''s a very romantic floral but not too heavy. I normally wear Clinuque''s Happy to Be or Pure Grace from Philosophy so it will be a departure for me to wear something a little more "girly".

That''s an interesting thought. I guess I can understand why someone would want to try something different, I''ve just had such bad experiences with perfumes that smelled great initially... then, after about 15 minutes, I couldn''t STAND them! It''s actually happened a lot! So I stick with what works... Happy...
Guess I felt the same way about my hair for my wedding, I was so sure that if I put it it I''d be clawing at it to take it down in about 15 minutes... I really debated wearing my hair in a "fancy" way, in the end, I just wore it the way I wear it. I''m still not sure about my decision, I guess it would have been nice to be really done up for the wedding, but I just didn''t want to not be ME...

Now all scents smell different on different people, but I found this amazing perfume. Not only does it smells wonderful but it lasts all day. I put this stuff on even when I''m by myself, it smells so good.

Of course the best compliment is when my fi says ''wow you smell great!'', or just inhales deeply.

I am sooo going to wear it for our wedding.

Of course it''s not what you''d call cheap: It''s La Chasse Aux Papillons by L''Artisan Parfumeur.

Come to think of it, all of their perfumes last all day. Well, at least the ones I''ve had. Some women have shoe ''issues'', I have a perfume habit. Vera Wang''s perfume is really nice too.

I''m doing this too! FI and I now have to decide on a fragrance.

I usually wear Comptoir Sud Pacifique''s Vanille Extreme, which smells YUMMY. But I want something flowery and romantic for that day. I''ve sampled Ralph Lauren''s Romance, and it may be the one!

I KNOW!! I fell in love with VS's Heavenly, but a year or 2 ago I discovered I was dreading putting it on in the morning because it would literally make me nauseus a couple hours later. I still love it on other people, but I went back to Curve, which I wore in high school.

when i met my FI i was wearing bond no. 9 in chelsea flowers. i stopped and swithced to chanel chance. i will either wear bond or find a new one. silly, but the reason i stopped wearing bond was to save it up for the wedding. figured the scent would bring back fond memories.

indie, if you had to describe La Chasse Aux Papillons (which i know is hard to do) what does it smell like?

I currently wear Chanel Allure and love it -- it definitely "works" on me!

I just found this site and you can order samples of five perfumes (many mentioned in this thread) for $5. They're probably just those little bottles you can get for free at perfume counters but it's a good option since many of these seem kind of hard to find:

ETA: Though I just noticed that the shipping is $5.35

-- more than the price of the sample itself!

I wore Aroma Tonic From Lancome... I love it.. I only wear it on specail occiasons.. it is one of those perfumes that work well with my body chemistry.

I wanted a new scent that would remind me of the wedding too, so I got Armani Code. I''m still wearing it...so when I smell it in the future it will probably remind me of more than just the wedding. Call is "Spring/Summer 2006 Scent!"
