What size should I get (Costco eternity band)?

I think a 7 should be plenty big. Do your fingers fluctuate a lot?

They do not. I keep reading that you should go up 1 size for eternity bands so I wasn’t sure if I should err on the side of caution and go bigger.

Do you have time to go try on eternity bands at a local jeweler? 8 seems big, but eternity bands can be tricky.

I like @0515vision 's suggestion to go to a local jeweler and try on a size 7 and 8. Then ask them, if you bought a size 8, could they add 3-4 sizing pads inside to make it fit smaller, and see what they say.

@0515vision @RMOO that’s a good idea. I may buy both and return the one that doesn’t work as well. I can’t think of jewelers in my immediate area that would have eternity bands that size.

I have this Costco band in a 1.5 ctw. It’s gorgeous. I can’t wait to see what the 3 ctw looks like.

I went half a size up for my eternity bands and added sizing beads. I can wear the ring on either hand.

I tired a full size up and it didn’t feel comfortable when I closed my fingers together. I wouldn’t go too
big.

I would think going up a 1/2 size should be enough. But since you don't think you have a jeweler close for trying on, ordering both should work.

Try both and see which you prefer. I wear 6.5/7 size rings but prefer my eternity to be a size 8 so I can wear on either ring finger and stack. But I have fleshy fingers ;-)

I have several eternity rings in different carat weights and different widths. I think the right size of an eternity ring depends on 2 factors basically:
1. width of the eternity ring
2. Do you want to wear it stacked or as a standalone ring

My usual ring size on my ring finger is size 5. I have a 3 carat eternity ring, which I have ordered in size 5.25. This size fits me perfectly if stacked with a solitaire or with one band, but it’s a bit loose worn alone, but not too loose. Stacked with 2 different band it can get snug.

So my conclusion is: to upsize by one full size is going to be way too big, I would go max. a half size bigger, if your fingers tend to swelling.
