I remember a thread that talked about having the flowers made into candle holders. Does anyone remember the site? Thanks!

I am not sure about that particular vendor, but I am planning on having mine made into a rosary for FI''s mom and aunt as a thank you for helping to pay for parts of the wedding (they are very religious) and a bracelet for my mother and I.

Thanks! Looks like the old thread popped up too

No prob. You just have to promise to post pictures of the final product.

I sure will! They said that roses and callas usually do well. Orchids are iffy because they sometimes turn brown. She plans on calling me tomorrow to let me know how the flowers look.

They said that the flowers arrived in great condition and that it now takes 3-4 weeks for them to dry. At that time, they will call me and let me know the options. We plan to keep a few candles for us and send some to our relatives too. I will update everyone when I find out more!

They have arrived!! My bouquet flowers are inside the wax candles. Cymbidium orchids, calla lillies, and lavender roses...

The people at design finds were great to work with! They were so nice and answered all of our questions. We plan on keeping a few for us and the rest will go to parents/relatives.

That is awesome! Very pretty!

Wow, very pretty! So the heat from the fuel cell doesn''t melt the wax? That is really a neat idea!

Aw, cute idea!

I think I"m just giving my calla''s to my mother in law to decorate her room with for awhile :)

Yep, it does not melt the wax as long as you only use the 32 hour fuel cells. They really don't put that much heat out and the flame is very controlled. You can even use these candles as a vase for flowers or to put potpourri in.

Very cool. Thanks for sharing the results.

Beach! Thanks for posting this. That looks awesome. I''m putting this in my to do folder.

Do you have any wedding pics???
