What to wear with a swing jacket?

This weekend I was trying on a bunch of clothes and the staff at the store handed me a swing jacket. I didn''t think it would work on my figure but I think it did. The swing jacket had one button on the top then was open. 3/4 length sleeves and the jacket came to the top of my pants...so not too cropped.

I tried in on with a thin long sleeve tee shirt which seemed to work. But what do I wear on the bottom with swing jackets? It''s a totally different look than what I normally wear and I want to keep the proportions right. So, what type of things work on the lower half with a swing jacket?

Basically anything that is body skimming would be good with a swing jacket... pencil skirts, cigarette pants, etc.

i agree with april, i wear my straight jeans and flats with mine, or tight fitting trousers or flares, or pencil skirt.
