What wedding band do you wear with your HW inspired halo?

For those of you who have the Harry Winston inspired halo from VC, SK, LM, ERD, JbEG...the list goes on What wedding band do you wear with it? Do you mind sharing photos? I'm in the process of starting to reset my diamond into this setting but I'm curious to see wedding bands with it.

I am as well! I would be interested in seeing this as well. I was leaning towards a micropave band that is 2mm or 2.2mm

That was pretty much what I was thinking but then again I wasn't sure if the pave bands would rub against each other. Hoping some PSers will chime in soon. I know there are tons of these rings out there by so many different designers.

I was debating getting a matching pave band, but I'm pretty certain now that I won't be wearing two rings together because 1) it'll look bulky and take away from the outline I like so much, and 2) of the risk of stones falling out from prongs rubbing against each other.

Frankie- will your band sit flush with your ring or because of the basket there is a gap. Can you perhaps show the profile of how the bands sit with each other from underneath? Thanks!

I actually think the band looks better not flush as you can see it's two separate bands

I like the separation with pave style bands as well.

Acutally that is not true. I have seen several versions where PSers have requested the ability to have the band sit flush. I'm guessing the donut is either altered or raised to accomodate this.

yes, it can be done, but this also means the elimination of the donut completely. the donut basically comes to a POINT at the band, hence, no donut...

I actually do not like the bands to sit flush. May as well have one wide shank to the e-ring in that case! I love two thin bands with the little gap from the e-ring!

I just got the 2.6 mm Stolen Band from Leon and I think it looks great with my e-ring. I will probably have to wear a spacer, though.

I was originally looking at one of the halo settings for my diamond, I was going to get a matching band. I love the look of the matching pave band

This looks great! I love the seperation between the pave bands as it draw more attentiong to the two bands instead of looking like one thick band

thanks AmysBling. I actually had to get a spacer due to the profile on my e-ring and figured I might as well use my original wedding band. It's almost 2mm, so a little bigger than the usual spacer's we see, but I like it and I like the sentiment behind it

I don't have any pave on my donut or prongs, so I would love to have a pave eternity band someday to go with my ring. BUT, not a matching band...probably something complementary like a very skinny baguette-and-round eternity band. In the meantime, I'm wearing my Tiffany knife-edge platinum band with my halo ring.

My ering is from HW with an emerald cut diamond and I wear it with the matching micropave band and RG band in the middle.

Caballogurl who were you referring too? Many people posted in the thread with their sets. If you are referring to Frankies setting it was made by Victor Canera. I believe her specs are a 3ct on a size 4.75 finger I believe. You can run a general search on PS for this halo by VC. There are several of us that have them in varying carat sizes if you need a visual. Mine is a 2ct in the exact same setting on a size 6 finger. VC is wonderful to work with.

I have a 3.5 carat center stone and my fiance thinks the halo is too much. But I love it!! Do you feel your halo is over the top with a larger stone?
